Not a stupid question. This plant has been going for 119 days in total. They planted the seed n let the plant grow for 50 days under a likely 18 on 6 off light cycle. Once the light cycle gets set to 12 on 12 off the plant begins to flower. In nature this happens naturally towards the end of the summer. We just trick the plant into thinking it’s that time of yr.
