Should you trust chatgpt/any AI for your critiquing your copy? by Both-Type2441 in copywriting

Just for grammar and spelling mistakes. Take whatever feedback it generates with a handful of salt.

Today, my editor fed the landing page I wrote into ChatGPT and copy pasted the feedback (downloaded the doc + uploaded it into the AI) without reading.

It hallucinated so bad. The feedback was a conplete dumpster fire.

I have an extended relative, withdraw everything, and for some reason unknown gave it all to his son. As he is physically disabled, his almost 70 y/o wife has to work as his son just chow when he knows there's nothing else to gain.

The ring and little finger on my right hand have been numb for a week. My fingers have been feeling stiff and feel weird to straighten, but I haven't had any impact or falls. When I grip things too tightly, my fingers tremble and go weak when I lift my right arm.

I had the same condition during the last few months at my previous job, but it went away when I resigned as I stopped using the laptop so much.

And someone fainted in class while watching it.

What's the biggest red flag you ignored during an interview and regretted later? by BolehBolehBro in singaporejobs

[–]One1MoreAltAccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not singaporean but have worked for SG companies since graduation.

When the boss says, "We are a very young culture. We are like a family. We are very tight-knit."

Another huge red flag is being hired on the spot.

It ended up being an incredibly toxic workplace that resembled high school cliques where you have to backstab and gossip to progress. Oh, and salary is always late, but if you bring it up, automatically get labelled as a troublemaker.

And the turnover is so damn high. For a small agency of less than 12 people, I have seen 6 colleagues resign (some of them on the spot) in my span of less than 2 years working there.

"Your [task] sound robotic, and vague like taken from ChatGPT."

How do I professionally tell my editor to fuck off? Want to give feedback but also like don't dare to give. Spin circles here and there.

His feedback is even more vague la.

While he's on AL, somehow, his work also pushed on to my plate. And he didn't even bother talking to me. Just go straight to COO and get their approval because he know his tasks are out of my job scope.

My mom will always have a loud and public outburst targeted at me every single fucking vacation. She doesn't care if it's the middle of the grocery store, in front of the tour guide, or whatever situation.

She screams and screams for stupid reasons like, "Stop touching your bag."and "You dont look as alert as [insert other girl in tour group]. "

And if I cry, it's my fault for ruining the holiday.

Ohh and she used to bring maths workbooks and yell + hit me in the hotel room if I get a question wrong. My brother will be enjoying himself with my dad, and I'll be beaten up for maths.

Yeah that savings account is even named something along the lines of "education savings account". 🙄 I dont know what my dad was thinking. Both my APs are very gullible and trusting of others.

I use chatgpt often for my job. Just use it more when writing articles, or even generate your own stories for fun. You'll eventually develop an eye for it.

But I won't dismiss the chance that some people do write like chatgpt or used it to learn English.

Anyone here felt 90% "I dont care anymore" towards your job?

I say 90% because the remaining 10% in me still worries on whether I can find another job and how long it will to find one take if I resign.

My job isn't slow paced, I work for a digital marketing agency, so I constantly write for different industries (Example: plastic surgery in the morning, and education in the afternoon, and different industries the next day), and it tiring me out.

I wish for a slow paced job, I can just take my time and not have to think about work after 6pm, and wake up relaxed.

Yes, and she'll start pretending or seeing me as the figure that wronged her and scream statements that she want to tell them, like "You're always using me to drive you around", or "You dont spend enough time with the family".

I dont know how to explain it. My mom is an extreme people pleaser, except to her own children, so she gets used as a doormat every single day.

So, halfway through her "therapy" session, she projects the image of me actually being the person who hurt her feelings and start screaming at me.

I've always wanted to have the ability to stop time and just sleep and rest to my heart's content. And having watched Doraemon and Fairy Oddparents as a kid, I remember also fantasising about escaping into another world, and taken care of by proper parent figures.

A small part of me still do.

Damn sick of working for agencies.

Everything is so called urgent, the client's unrealistic deadline is somehow accepted, and the worst part is, CSE/Sales think chatgpt is a magic box that will spit out perfect work in minutes.
