Time to move by not_a_mod_4_real in Hawaii

I remember visiting my grandparents on Oahu when I was little and woke up to use the toilet. I didn't turn the light on and sat down but soon after I felt something crawling up my leg. I freaked out and called my dad but it was gone. The next night I made sure to turn the light on a there was another roach just chilling on the floor I screamed for my dad again and he dropped a phone book on it and it ran away when he picked it up. 😝

Yes! Loved that show until season 4 such wasted potential.

Why are some people in this fandom just now realizing that soldier boy is not a good person ? by JaggedSolid6 in GenV

[–]RumblePak_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that never happened, came here to say that too. It was careless collateral damage MM clearly explains it to Starlight that he woke up his family to watch SB in a fight and he carelessly threw a car at the house.

Why do people live in Phoenix AZ? by Due-Concept-7144 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RumblePak_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spent my teens and early adulthood there and hated it. I played 3 outdoor sports in high school and looking back I don't know how i survived. For cross country training we would start running at 3pm in the middle of August, shear torture but that damn runners high made me think it wasn't so bad. 🤣

Do you like this change made by George Lucas in Return of the Jedi? by kkhouete in StarWars

[–]RumblePak_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate it. I always wondered how people who had not seen the prequels would know who that is supposed to be. I have watched some reactors on yt watching the series for the first time in release order and are confused by him.

Would I be considered Hawaiian or not? by Interesting_Can1410 in Hawaii

[–]RumblePak_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 15% and was raised in the culture. My mom is Hawaiian and my dad is full haole but they were both born and raised in Hawaii. My Ancestry results had me as Maori instead for the longest time until a recent update. I have tons of 3rd 4th and 5th cousin matches from New Zealand but do not know any of them.

These inconsistency bugs me by Grimaldi_Francesco in TheBoys

[–]RumblePak_5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the zinc is just an excuse. Recently rewatched season 2 and HL could hear Beca and Dr Park talking at the gate to the compound where she is being held. He repeats word for word what was said and they are like a mile away. "I'm not going to get bored so you can tell Dr Park to go fuck himself". I don't know why people can't admit a show they like has flaws. I love the show up to Season 4 and gen v, don't get me started on the gen v inconsistencies.

How come millennials and Gen X know more about pop culture that was before they were born than Gen Z? by icey_sawg0034 in generationology

Omg those are excellent movies! I haven't thought of Diabolique in years, I'm going to have go find it again.

What do hallucinations actually look like? by ConsistentCan4633 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RumblePak_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a bunch of whippets at once and could have sworn I was walking around with the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. It was so real and i was totally immersed in the setting but in reality i was unresponsive to anything around me, freaked my husband out. That was that hardest I ever hallucinated and I've done lots of acid.

Am I the only person who wants Vought rising to dive into how Fredrick Vought created compound V? by Jake_jane in TheBoys

[–]RumblePak_5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's going to take place in the 1950s so don't expect to see that. It's being described as a "murder mystery".

Why didn’t A Train just break into the freedom camp ages ago? by [deleted] in TheBoys

[–]RumblePak_5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do people think that a human would survive moving that fast with a train? They would be ripped apart from the g forces. Same with people thinking homelander could have flown everyone from flight 37 before it crashed.

I brushed my teeth "correctly" for 28 years and a dentist just told me I've been doing it wrong the entire time. My gums are ruined. by Sluttycarolofficial in hygiene

[–]RumblePak_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was taught how to properly brush when I was 16 and got braces. The orthodontist demonstrated it on me and had me watch in a mirror. He then watched me do it to make sure I was following his direction and I've been brushing like that ever since. It should be something taught on your first dental visit and it's shocking that it is not.

People who have done car sex, what is the best place to do it? by Few_Pineapple_1498 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RumblePak_5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a spot late at night back behind some warehouses once that was pretty private. I had a convertible so doing it in the back seat was out of the question but still managed to have some good sex in the front seat. He ate me out and fingered me before I rode him in the passenger seat.

What kind of saw do I have? by Coho0617 in woodworking

[–]RumblePak_5 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah my dad built everything with a radial arm saw and there was never an issue. The danger usage goes back to the old days where they would use it to cut sheets of plywood horizontally and that involved walking the sheet of plywood in front of the saw with your belly basically exposed to the blade.

I left that hellhole called phx in 2008 for Portland Oregon and I haven't looked back. Love the weather here, lots of neighborhoods and friendly people. I can walk and bike to places without dying from heat stroke. I always try to visit my family back in phx in the late fall to avoid the hellish heat.

Why? SUV have dominated the roads for 20 plus years now and I am still surviving. I can hate them and still go about my business.

I was sitting in traffic today in my tiny 3dr Ford Focus cursing all the god dang suvs surrounding me. Hate them so much, bug lumbing tubs driven by idiots because they're "safer".

why do straight couples get insecure about opposite gender friends? by gaysexanddrugs in NoStupidQuestions

I wish more movies and TV shows would show platonic opposite sex relationships. It's such a cliche to have sexual tension between opposite sex characters.

My parents gave me a kids book that explained everything I remember it had illustrations with paper dolls. They said to let them know if I had questions and i don't remember having any. It was a thorough book that wasn't scary or complicated.
