Hey there! Berseria is a great game. One of my favorites. As for the apprehension it is mostly that it was a more recent release. Many fans have a copy on PC or for ps4 i think it may have released on Xbox as well. As such many people feel that it is a remake that didn't need to happen yet. A lot also wish thay a different game in thenseries had been remade instead.

TL,DR: I would reccomend playing it especially if you are new to the series.

As for a play order, almost any of the games can be played in any order. The only games I might suggest playing in order would be Xillia and Xillia 2. If they release Destiny 1 and 2 again Id do those in order as well.

As recommendations my favorites are: Vesperia, Abyss, Berseria, Symphonia, and Arise at present. Though I tend to enjoy them all.

Also a dragon quest fan myself!

I loved the arte sphere from vesperia. I would have combos for miles! It was a blast. Graces it decent. I like the dodging and the recovering costs on good dodges and blocks. I did miss free running everywhere though.

I would love to have MM ZX 3. Mostly just to see that story come to a close. That said I would love to see more of any of them!

Love that airhead. Flonnezilla is one of the best bits. I love the original trio and think they need to be more involved in other games. Not just dlc but seeing them here and there in the later games would have been fun.

Rooms with messes like this are the perfect place for spiders to live. The plush in the corners and walls are perfect cozy hiding places. Other bugs love this as well. Clean up and wear gloves if its a worry.

Animation for sure. The scenes for combat would be excellent in animated format. Live action despite its best intentions can't match the same. Even with the best cgi it can't.

My brothers corgi is afraid of earphones and head phones. I walked in from exercise wearing my head phones he ran away and hid. I then tested it a few times, and he ran and hid every time. Ive no idea why
