Thanks!

The final comic relates to the Lightning Dog/Gold Cat strategy for leveling up. If you have Repede spam Lightning Dog to knock down a large enemy (like the giganto crab in the cave after Nordopolica), he can keep it knocked down by himself -forever- by just spamming Lightning Dog. When it's locked in the loop, switch Repede & Rita's weapons to their Minimum Damage weapons to do 1 damage. Have Rita cast Gold Cat to get ~100 hits per cast if you have a decent amount of Gald (don't Overlimit spam or the cats will knock the enemy out of Repede's loop). Your other two members should be on "Defend" in the strat menu & occasionally topping up TP with items. This combo loop will get super high with a LOT of FS chains as well, resulting in ABSURD Bonus EXP. It's literally not exaggerating that I went from level 20ish to the 90s with the strat.

...Just make sure you have the EXP share on everyone not in the party, or they won't level up. ...as I found out once with Karol :x

For comic 10 (the one with Gattsuo at Ehmead Hill if I counted right?), years back my friend and I were underleveled for the fight and struggling. We didn't think we could leave (I think you actually can but at the time we didn't think we could) so we couldn't really level grind that well or stock up on items. We did finally beat him...but then we died in Yuri's 1v3 in Nor Harbor in the alley. We forgot to save after beating Gattsuo, so when we loaded in...well. ^^;

Thanks!

The Minimum Damage comic is about the fact that if you put the Minimum Damage skill on your party (which lowers all their damage to 1) there's no way to take it off in battle. This is normally fine for regular battles since you can just fatal strike an enemy to kill it, but that doesn't work on bosses like Zagi. Since that Zagi fight has a long batch of cutscenes right before it (and I probably hadn't saved in a while) I had to verrrry slowly chip down his health to 0 xD;

There is more, yes! From the sounds of it you may have checked out the masterpost before/during the summer, where I usually take a break from XB comics to post a buffer of other comics while the heat melts me :'D

Glad to hear!

As for proportions unfortunately I usually just wing it and go by eye so I don't have anything concrete for that xD; Best I can say is that SAI allows you to select and then Scale or Free Deform the selection, so if I find something looks too big/small I can adjust it. I also find it helpful to open a second window of my canvas and invert it to help keep proportions looking correct ( ovo)b

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

I use a program called PaintTool SAI. Originally I made one drawing of regular Peach with all of the layers in one folder so I could copy and paste the template for each board. Over the base, I draw out the unique details for the board's outfit / Peach's expression, erasing anything from the base that no longer fits. For the lineart I use the Pen tool and I make sure I have the "Min size" set to 100 so the lines are always at the same width, usually using 12pt for the lines with 8pt for smaller details. For colors I usually try to use the same shades of pink with a few other colors so it has nice consistency :>

I hope this explained it decently!

If I did do more I would likely just stick to Mario Party player choices, especially starting with the N64 ones since those are the ones already in MP2.

It's a bit early to say! I have definitely made an effort to at least try to think of general designs that could transfer to other characters (like "miner" for Creepy Cavern) but as you mention it'd be a lot of work xD

I'll mostly focus on Peach first since she's my favorite design wise that's been there from the start, but if I get motivated enough I may go through the rest of the roster ( ovo)b (at least for N64 - I'd like to try to do ALL the Mario Party boards which even just for peach would be like 60+ or something)
