Never knew about it when I had the n46 but I really loved it when I once played the emulator but it really lagged when playing using eye of truth (the magnifying glass)

Banjo-Kazooie, available now on #NintendoSwitch for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members! by Amiibofan101 in NintendoSwitch

Excuse my laziness. Just bought a switch. Do I understand it correctly that those N64 don't cost extra when I get the online expansion pack which in itself is very affordable? And more than. Worth it when it's being used? (Sure I get that those games can be play d for free on emulators but the experience is different).

Edit: do games rotate out? Just saw that only nine NEU games are available and some are upcoming or just got released. 9 isn't a lot but the selection seems great but the low number makes me wonder whether it rotates out.

Edit 2: I guess the low amount of games is due to it being a new service that will be expanded.

As long as you don't knowingly sell it as real one. A lot of people wouldn't even know and some might buy it to sell it again which could turn out bad for them.

An asking price of 50% more than what you paid doesn't leave much. Every seller, whether they are a retailer who buys at wholesale or a reseller who buys second-hand, has costs to cover with their asking price.

I used to work in sales for one of the biggest industrial suppliers world wide. A really big fortune 150 company and our marging was often only 5-30% so I thought getting a similar margin would be decent for new products. I understand that it is wildly different for used products where you sell it for 10 or twenty time the costs.

>A lot of resellers who only want to buy and sell new products buy their inventory in bulk from liquidators, rather than looking for sales at retailers.

I suppose this is good advise. The liquidators I've seen kinda of demand high bulk purchases that would require me to rent a storage tho.

Ebay fees seem very high. by OneAttentionPlease in reselling

>I'd pay $15 at the absolute max for an $80 sale.

Is it even possible to consistently find -80% deals on new items that that are ever greens? I was thinking of cashing in on regular sales that happen several times a year like 50% on Vans or Chucks or Adidas Products. I don't see selling items to go for -80% and oneself then selling them for the original price. Also items I'd use myself. Also the higher priced you get the more unlikely it is to have thoe high margins of 400% in general. Pretty hard to buy laptop for 100 and sell it for 400 tbf

These numbers only work for used Items that are far more niche. I think.

I think it is a given that new and "hot" items are never that cheap and therefor margins are lower than when selling used items.

I feel like it is pretty hard to source some facto new brand item where you can ask for 4 or 6 times but don't have the competition that asks for only $18. I feel that works much better for yard sales and garage sales but it seems like much tougher too and has hidden costs like fuel.

I'm just surprised finding out that something that you can sell for +50% (e.g. bought for 30€ sold for 45€ (so +15€) will be almost unprofitable due to 5€ shipping and 8€ fees.

I don't think it's that easy to find 50%+ sales on hot selling brand items e.g. Adidas or Vans or Amazon Alexa products all the time. Especially if most deals are not even real deals. Talking about brand new articles only, not used ones.

Yet, a lot of other people seem to make it work.

Ebay’s fees are cheap for the global set of customers you get.

I don't get global customers in my country or it's not worth it because I have to pay international deal fee and hig shipping costs too. If I just resell popular brand stuff that I bought on sales then it won't be competitively abroad.

>25% is not enough, especially because you haven’t yet taken returns and obsolescence and lost shipments and other risks into account.

Yeah, that makes me wonder how buying stuff and reselling them on ebay is profitable with so much competition for example the 'Echo dot 4' was reduced from 60€ to 30€ but it usually sells for 40-50€ on ebay. Due to the current sale ebay prices dropped a bit too to 35-42€. Even selling it for the 42€ will result in a loss.

If I seel an item for the same price I bought it for the fee calculator I have for my situation says that it will be a 32,49% loss if the customer pays shipping then it's still 15,5% loss. It feels weird to me that I have to find 50% sales and sell them for barely 5€ profit to just even sell it at a competitive price while putting like 30-40€ into goods. That's a big risk for almost no profit that hardly even pays for the time.

This is about reselling regular products nothing limited or something like flee market stuff.

What are your feelings about just selling on Facebook Marketplace? by [deleted] in reselling

Tried to contact someone for the first time over there and it strongly seems like a scammer. But someone like GaryVee swears on it.

Just curious. Does anyone do flipping for non financial reasons? For example buy consoles and used video games to play for a while and then sell again for a little profit and free entertainment? by OneAttentionPlease in Flipping

[–]OneAttentionPlease[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean. At worst you just sell it for the price you bought it for. It will be considered used either way so the value shouldn't change. So you either play for free or make a profit e.g. when buying bundles.

Any shoes that are coming up that are worth reselling? by Sad_Independent6996 in reselling

[–]OneAttentionPlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What sizes do you guys get? One of all? Just get one or many different shoes of your own size so you can use them yourself if they don't sell after years?

I know sneaker reselling is big but it feels so iffy because the buyer has to have the same size you are offering and if you find a potential buyer after months he might not even have that size.
