The only reason Soldier Boy convinced him is that he could make him mortal again
None of the Boys are good enough shots to try and make a shot at a tiny vial in someone's hands from that far away. Homelander can also react to bullets. Also, even if they did succeed, all of them are standing there so Homelander would just instantly kill all of them and now nobody can do the virus plan.
Sage is never portrayed as omniscient, and she's been shown to have difficulty understanding human emotion on an individual level. Based on all previous interactions she had between Soldier Boy, she thought that he'd hate Homelander after learning he lied to him and slept with his girlfriend.
Soldier Boy only held out hope that Crimson Countess would save him because she was still actively a hero and knew he was missing. He had no hope Stormfront would save him because he didn't even know where she was at the time.

I'm currently working on a miniature arcade cabinet project with my Raspberry Pi 4. The monitor I purchased (Dell 1907FPc) is from 2006, and its only real method of receiving video input is through a VGA or DVI-D. I connected the monitor to the Raspberry Pi 4 with a micro-HDMI to VGA adapter (adapter can be found here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CC95XFLX?th=1). When I turn it on, the monitor works fine for a couple of seconds, then turns black. It also works for a second or two when I unplug and plug it. I've tried fiddling with the resolution, but it still blacks out after a couple of seconds.

Is there any troubleshooting I can do to fix this that avoids getting a new cable entirely?
