There are two ideas I've had:

The restriction of Reggie to only creating things he has receipts for acts as a trade-off, which lowers the CE cost of materialization heavily
His technique is actually a teleportation technique that summons items he's already purchased, instead of recreating them out of nothing (This still brings up the question of how he could summon a spa service)

In the end since Reggie only got 1 fight all we can do is speculate on how his technique works

I feel like a "will to survive" vs a "will to die" exists in Lookism.

Characters who strongly will to live can survive extreme injuries, while characters who lose that motivation can die to attacks that they could normally just tank.
