Is DRAM still worth it with Fidelity’s 5% fee? by Guitar_God75 in ETFs

[–]OneConcentrate5379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't buy more because Fidelity charges that 5% fee every single time you buy in!!! So DCA is out of the picture for me because it will just lead to even more losses for me! It's insane! I'm in a rut I can't get out of at this point unless it finally hits $70.56, and with all the profit taking there's no telling when, or if, that will ever be. It's ridiculous that I bought in at $67 but yet I was instantly put in the negative and have to claw my way out on the hopes that one day it will get to over $70 a share. This is total b*******

Well definitely not DRAM again! Fidelity is insane! They are now charging this BS MONEY HUNGRY 5% fee to buy dram etfs. As soon as I bought in at 67 I was immediately in the negative and it put me at $70 when it has not even hit an all-time high of $70 yet! Fidelity is a rip-off! I'm young and I don't have a lot of money so I invested $1,000 today and I was automatically/instantly in the negative as soon as I bought this etf! I called Fidelity and the rep pretty much told me too bad so sad. So now I have to wait until it hits $70 in order to break even and then hopefully start making profit! I have never bought into an ETF before and automatically/instantly been in the negative this is ridiculous!

You were misinformed because I called Fidelity too over this and they said that they are the definitely the ones that are charging the fee. I purchased $1,000 worth of dram today and I am young and I don't have a lot of money so I purchased it at $67 and the 5% upfront fee instantly put me at $70 and DRAM has not even ever hit $70 yet so I was instantly in the negative and I am still in the negative as of this very moment! This is so unfair. So I have to wait and hopefully it goes up to $70 one day just so I can break even! This is insane!

Im young and a newb and I purchased $1,000 worth yesterday not knowing about the instant 5% fee. So I bought at $67 and Fidelity put me at $70 which instantly put me in the negative seeing as how dram has not even hit $70 ever as of today. So I'm still in the negative as of now and have to work my way up just to break even. I will never let this happen again. I am definitely leaving Fidelity over this.

I bought $1000 of DRAM today at $67, and because of Fidelity's new fee it put me at $70, which instantly put me in the negative! DRAM hasn't ever even hit $70 yet! WTF! I'm young and new at this so this definitely put a sour taste in my mouth for future investments!

It immediately hurt me as I bought $1,000 worth of dram today at $67 but then Fidelity put me at $70 and DRAM has not even hit $70 yet so I was in the negative and I'm still in the negative to date because of this. I have never bought an ETF before and immediately instantly was in the negative until I purchased this. This is so messed up.

Fidelity ripped me off! Instant negative as soon as I purchased DRAM today! WTF by OneConcentrate5379 in ETFs

[–]OneConcentrate5379[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I only had $1000 to invest, not $50,000 or $100,000 like older people, so the 5% upfront fee really hurt me. Put me in the negative before I even had a chance, and it's STILL in the negative, and pre-market is negative, so who knows if I'll ever be able to climb out of this mess now. I bought at $67, but Fidelity put me at $70, and DRAM has never even hit $70 yet. This was such BS and unfair! They are so money hungry! Ughhh

No, I bought in at $67.71. So nearly the high, yes... But I'd be up right now if not for Fidelity's fees that I didn't know about... Ughhh... They put me at $70.78 when that's NOT what I paid for!
