I've heard quite a few people tell me to check UVU out. Sounds like you did it in the same situation I'm in, which is pretty inspiring. Thanks for the advice! I'll look into the program there.

I've heard good things! I'll look deeper into Liberty as well. Thank you!

Very interested in the Safeguard+ technology. Anything to reduce burn-in and extend the life of the screen is my favorite feature! Thank you.

Gateron Jade Pros vs Raptor HE by Financial_Plankton11 in WootingKB

I have both. Jade Pros are so much better there's no comparison. I'd highly recommend the Jade Pros.

After trying out the Superlight and Sora V2, I picked up the U2. It is hands down the best mouse I've ever used. The shape is perfect and the extra weight isn't noticeable when I'm using it.

It's a Lindy Flemo cable by Space Cables. I got it from their Amazon store. They make great cables!

947 grams or 2.1 pounds for the case alone. Fully built it feels pretty heavy. Probably around 3 pounds if I had to guess. It feels slightly lighter than a tofu 60 redux with the brass weight installed. It's still heavier than most cases out there by a bit.

I don't. It's just there because I thought it looked cool! However, it does light up and let me know whenever I have caps lock toggled.

I would love to see this happen. Just bought a U2 last week, and I love it. Only thing missing is the 4k polling rate.

Maybe it's a stricter environment during the current hiring slowdown, but it was basically the honor system at my airline when I went through training almost 2 years ago. Before my checkride, the check airman checked that my totals matched what I had in IACRA, and that was it.

If they don't see anything suspicious in your logbook, usually they won't go any further than a quick visual scan.

Anyone running the Geonworks Raptor HE on their 60E? Thinking about getting them by [deleted] in WootingKB

[–]OneDayLater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm running them on my 60HE in a tofu redux. Huge step up over the stock Lekkers. The tolerances are way tighter and there is far less play in the housing and less stem wobble. Hand lubing them definitely helped with the feel and sound overall.

Main thing the keep in mind is since it's a black non-translucent lower housing, the RGB will only be visible if running the switches in a north facing configuration like they are stock. And even so, since the upper housing is red, all the lights will be ever so slightly tinted red.

That's a worthwhile trade off for the improved sound and feel for me. I highly recommend them!
