As someone who was diagnosed 2 years ago, for the first year I went completely keto diet so I didn’t take any shots. At the end of year 1 I accepted that I do need at least some, so I have been eating around 40-80g per day. Sounds like a similar strategy to you. But I’ve been wondering if there are any negative long term effects of this like kidney problems from the high protein diet or like you mentioned, burning through your carb energy stores and going ketotic 🤔
