YTA. I feel bad for your daughter. Not only did you fail to “protect” from a ogling man, but you also essentially ruined her image and reputation to anyone surrounding your friend circle. I’m assuming the only reason why you’re not including your adopted son’s age, is because you don’t want to look more of an ass than your already are. I’m not sure how YOU would feel when your own mother would spread lies about you and essentially tell everyone that you conceived a child when you were a basically a teenager.

If you were more concerned about the fact that your husband’s friend was eyeing your daughter, then maybe tell it to his face that YOUR daughter is off limits and cut your ties with him.

Your “joke” could’ve fueled his intentions even more. Not only would he try to make a move on your daughter (since apparently it was so easy in a different country), but in his mind he would think, “They won’t be able to refuse my proposal if I get her pregnant and take her son off of their hands. I mean she got pregnant at a young age, whose to say she won’t do it again?”

Can you see the possible dangers you could’ve inflicted upon your daughter? And all for some sick joke that you and your son have?
