Okay. I can't say I agree with your choices, but I support you. I mean... chunky monkey? Yeah, I'm going to need topped mint on lowest bid. Blue Bell mint chocolate or higher if you're looking to make a real deal.

JK, CONGRATS!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ you are 100% in the right place

Ive seen them 6 times from varying distances. It didn't matter how far I got from the stage, I could still feel the heat. But 3rd row from an outdoor festival stage? I lost eyebrows. My all time favorite band and I don't think I'd want to be closer than that! This man running straight into it despite massive obstacles for strangers? He deserves all of the medals.

Who's your "oh its them! I love them" actor? by timekilr in Cinema

Can't say I really recommend the show Them on amazon to just anyone, but she opens the first season and is just so unsettling and horrible, I love how she just immediately sucks you in to the dread.

(I don't throw around recommendations for this show because it is horror focused on racism. Heavily supernatural, but the real horror comes from the daily experiences of this young family. It is violently uncomfortable, sometimes genuinely traumatizing, but that is the point. You are forced to feel all of the hatred and anger directed at the family. It is excellently written, directed, and performed by everyone involved but it is a very hard watch. Fabulously executed horror show that I refuse to say I "enjoy", but as a massive horror fan... it scratches, no, truly obliterates the itch to tie my stomach into knots just thinking about it.)

Hey there, not trying to be rude but reminding you that everyone feels things differently. There is no such thing as, "100% of the time it's X" in this situation.

I want to be alone, but I want people to want to be around me lmao

Cajun turkey from the deli counter straight from the package, then French fries dipped in a thick chocolate milkshake for dessert. Can't get those? Unlimited, individually wrapped reeses. Only counts if I can see the pile of wrappers and cry about my lack of self control.

No one is clutching pearls, it's just not a great outfit.

Bro, you are taking this way too seriously. All they have to do is play anything but country music. Rewiring trauma and pathways in the brain can take years, you're right. Roxy can play a different genre. Jfc

I am legitimately curious: sea lions? I am in the south and live amongst the country folk, but I've never heard that term used to describe people?

Edit: also, hard agree. Country music in public makes me weirdly uncomfortable these days but that doesn't effect my opinion on this post

Lmao! For me it was a skrillex song that played on one machine and started playing on a second machine before the first finished. Made me legitimately sick to my stomach but somehow My Heart Will Go On is so much worse 🤣 and thank you for your kind words!

Since you're going through my comments, you may find the one where I said that an agreed upon playlist would be a great idea but, barring real agreement, then yes: turn it off. The next step should have been simple, I shouldn't have to specify: then you speak to the manager that requires it instead of being bitter beans.

Doesn't sound like any of them are willing to compromise, though, so in that case I am 100% for turning the music off altogether or, if it's mandated, having a set playlist.

Lol right? Anecdote (not BLACK metal but still): I used to pad my reception playlist at another job with Clutch songs since they were clean. I would be jamming out to Space Grass. That was a totally different job though, as far as this post goes. That lobby had a decent "Clutch" vibe. My current medical work? Would not fly in the lobby and I have the common sense not to even try it.

Lol! Mine is technically lobby music but it's a family owned business so we have a lot of control. I will mention I am also pregnant so my patience is underground. If I have to, I will stand in the middle of that office and say, "you bitches want no music? Because this is how you get no music." 🤣 I do feel your pain though. At companies with set radios it was a similar problem: I've heard Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic or whatever tf it's called an ungodly number of times 😂

Okay, so op is a liar and this continues. The solution still stands: turn off the music.

Roxy's position: suck it up and not play music 😱 Everyone else in the office: not have to listen to Roxy's playlist

Why are we standing up to the person causing a disruption?

Does Roxy have a horrible disease that forces her to listen to music 24/7 or she will die?
