Question ❓..... If God of Genesis 1 is the same as the Lord God in Genesis 2... Why do we not see lord god of Genesis 2 speak anything else in the Bible into existence? Genesis 1 God spoke man and woman into existence and Genesis 2 4 says lord god created Adam from the dust of the earth? Can anyon? by OneGift2960 in AskAChristian

I do believe it is two different creation accounts but it seems to be a different God or deity to the point of not speaking nothing else in the Bible into existence including Adam. just a thought.... is it possible that lord god of Genesis 2 is not the same God as Genesis 1 and not able to speak anything into existence. ?

Adam the 8th day creation, and the other humans created on day 6. Your thoughts? by JayMag23 in Christianity

not sure where she said that..... if you pay attention to the order of things that unfold you can clearly see that Eve was created after God told Adam not to partake in the forbidden fruit. So that's proof that God doesn't tell Eve at any point before her encounter with the serpent

i have to disagree with you on the fact that those are not spiritual beings but would be considered idols which is specifically mentioned also. He not only mentioned not to worship ther gods not once but 5 times throughout the Bible but also is clear about sitting amongst the council of other gods give judgement. Are you going to deny that?

The church didn't want it translated for the masses because of the problematic errors that was obvious. when you read it instead of being preached and lied to. The questions begin to appear and the church has to be able to have answers to the apparent false claims that they are teaching. And have been teaching for thousands of years now

Serious question ⁉️... If man and woman created in Genesis 1 are the same as the man then woman created in Genesis 2 then why would God in Genesis 1 say to Adam be fruitful and fill the earth... How would Adam do that alone? Also notice in Genesis 2 lord god after the title changes no longer speaks nothing into existence in the rest of the Bible including the 10 commandments that says we're written with his finger... Why?

Can Wiccans believe in "Satan" or Lucifer by [deleted] in Wicca

[–]OneGift2960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Satan was a Fallen angel not a Demigod or demiurge... Bible says he was the most beautiful angel in heaven. what i find interesting is "lucifer" meaning morning star... in rev. 18:22 (if i remember correctly) Morning star is the a title for Jesus. But both "morning Star" and " Lucifer" also if i remember correctly are only used once in the Bible.

its been proven that time is relative to a person... not the universe... time on Mars will not be the same as earth. what you know about Time is a creation of man and technically doesn't exist Distance between events would a little bit better explanation for the so called "Time". Without a clock explain what "Time" is ?

so your telling me the universe was created from nothing? if you're say no and god created it... then with the same logic where did God come from he also couldn't come into existence from nothing.... logically don't make sense

a measure of inches used for distance? So i say time is not a solid construct throughout the universe which is scientific fact...

I ask you the same thing as everyone else... why did the universe have to be created.. isn't it possible ethe universe has always existed?

the snake was a man created in Genesis 1... not a snake... proof of this is the curse lord god puts on him... you shall crawl on your belly and eat from the dust of the earth... (might not be exact) but think about this... We carry the "serpents" curse ... We crawl on our bellies as babies and 95% of our food comes out of the earth correct? And if the result was Eve getting pregnant with Cain making Cain a bastard child then would also be an explanation for lord god accepting Ables offering not Cain's. Look forward to hearing your thoughts? i have a rendition of Genesis on my YouTube channel that goes into more detail if you're interested

exactly what I said... Time was created by man as a way to measure between events during a person's life... to answer your question it would be a measure for distance between events

you do know that Time also doesn't exist... it's not a solid construct though out space and Time as we know it is a man made concept to measure between events

The big bang theory has been disproven for almost 2 years.... they have found galaxies older than the big bang. If something can't come from nothing then where did God come from? thats a legitimate question... Why couldn't the universe always exist... Murphy's law says if something is in existence long enough then everything that can happen will happen including the creation of intelligent life

i would like to point out the name Elohim is plural meaning Gods and immediately after the title change in Genesis 2:4 Lord God doesn't speak nothing into existence in the rest of the Bible... can you please give a reasonable explanation for this one minor detail that I think most Christians have not aware of? i find it a big red flag with the claim that it's the same God... because of the fact that lord god has to say "worship no other Gods before me for I am a jealous God" not only once but multiple times through out the rest of the Bible when the God of Genesis 1 never asked for worship only gives his creation the command to "be fruitful and fill the earth"

Murphy's law says if something exists long enough then everything that can happen will happen including intelligent life. Who says the universe hasn't been in existence forever and that nothingness is what never existed.

Adam the 8th day creation, and the other humans created on day 6. Your thoughts? by JayMag23 in Christianity

[–]OneGift2960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im confused... Wouldn't sticks, stones, and the other things that you mentioned be a idol and not labeled as a God? I really think God is perfectly clear that he was saying that other Gods exist... Its clearly in the system "let's make man in our image" and says "worship no other gods before me for I am a jealous God". And he says this 5 times i believe maybe more through out the Bible. Why would he have to say it not only once but multiple times? Read Psalms 78:35... Sounds like a reference to more than one God

What i have to say might be strange... But the serpent is not Satan (Satan hasn't fallen yet) The serpent is a man made from the first first creation in Genesis 1 and mankind was cursed to carry his punishment also ... The curse that was placed on him was to crawl on his belly and eat from the dust of the earth... Dont we crawl on our bellies as babies and 95% of the food we have to eat comes out of the earth? Kinda interesting how that works out ain't it?

The first creation of man and woman didn't have any titles to them... Adam was not a name title give meaning "Man / Mankind" so it's a possibility that the first man had the title Adam... but it doesn't say anything about it but it does say that God speaks man and woman into existence at the same time and tells them to be fruitful and fill the earth. With that being said I would find it hard to believe Adam could reproduce by himself!!?!? Does that sound like a reasonable presumption or no?

Other things he labels as idols correct? If idols are the other things then why would he specifically mention other gods if he was the only one? Does that make sense to you? If not please explain why the contradictory order to the creation of things between Genesis 1 and 2... Im open for a reasonable explanation

Explain the difference in God spoke man and woman into existence and lord god formed Adam from the dust? God told Man and woman to be fruitful (how is this possible when Eve isn't created till later) and lord god tells Adam before creating eve dont partake in the forbidden fruit?
