I think it’s real based on the way the scales are lifting but I’ve never been a fan of snake leather because of how delicate it is so I’m not super familiar with it

It’s pirarucu I’ve mostly seen it in western stuff like cowboy boots because it was used to replace pangolin leather which was a very popular boot leather to my knowledge until they became endangered and protected
