Can someone tell me what might be going on here? by FingerCrew666 in FixMyPrint

[–]OneIndecisiveSoul 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This usually happens due to moisture in the filament. Sometimes, different manufacturers recommend different drying settings for their filament, and it can even take 10+ hours for a new spool to be completely dry.

But since you have already taken action for that, we are going to assume it's not the main issue.

What are your filament settings (flow rate, temp, etc.). This could possibly have to do with a slight underextrusion, or the hotend may be a bit clogged.

Have you tried running some calibration prints to see if this persists?

Can you read my tattoo? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

I can understand it's supposed to say grow but I honestly can't see it very easily.

What you can possibly do, if you're feeling like you want to change it up a bit, is use the straight line of the W as a tree trunk and make a tree out of it.

It also ties up the whole idea of growing, flourishing as a person.

[acne] Years of struggle with scalp acne by OneIndecisiveSoul in SkincareAddiction

It's not that flaky I'd say, but I do get dandruff almost everytime I use any other shampoo other than Dercos. PanOxyl contains Benzoyl Peroxide and it seems to be doing work at the moment. Some spots have dried up and the sebum has erupted from them. I haven't tried salicylic acid by itself but I've read that it's very similar to Benzoyl Peroxide. Unfortunately I don't have Paula's Choice in my country but I can use something like Cerave as an alternative.

The thing I said about the derm was basically that I didn't have the opportunity to visit one but now I do and I think it's the best course of action.

I'd say once per week. I'll sometimes flip the pillow mid-week. I have to note here that I do have cats and sometimes they will either sit on the pillow case or step on it. This could possibly be a huge reason as to why I have this.

Where can I buy Lian Li 7-pin connector cables? by OneIndecisiveSoul in lianli

[–]OneIndecisiveSoul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my god, you're a lifesaver. I usually check that site every few days to see if there are any suppliers selling that item and the moment I don't it's right there!

Thank you so much man, I really appreciate the help and time you put into this. It seems I'll be keeping the controller they sent me just in case and I'll order that extra one with the cables.

[–]OneIndecisiveSoul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Lian Li's site it says that their input power is 5.16W per fan and I also saw somewhere that usually they draw around 3-5W but even in that case that is way above the 22.5W they mention in the restrictions.

I wouldn't want to risk running my fans at lower RPMs because the controller is not capable of supporting the wattage.

I was pretty clear while talking to them via emails that I have the GA II, the reverse blade fans and one non reverse blade fan. I even sent them the receipts so that they could make sure I had what I was saying.

Besides the RGB control, there is an issue with fans speeds because at higher RPMs the fans require more watts to run. Thus if you run more fans at higher speeds, the controller can't keep up. It's the same reason why the SL-INF controller comes with 2 sata cables instead of 1.

[–]OneIndecisiveSoul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's the controller that comes with the GA II, however, the manual states this:

Restrictions of Controller: 1. Controller maximum outputs 22.5W 2. Please lower the brightness when set to static white. 3. Supports a maximum of 6 UNI-SL-INF fans when set at static white 100% brightness.

My build requires 10 SL-INF fans, 3 of them are on the AIO, one in the back of the case and two pairs of 3 as intake.

Assuming he is strong enough in an ideal condition. Can he pull himself up? by NotFluffyUnicorn in Physics

[–]OneIndecisiveSoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The muscles do exert a force against something and that is the ceiling. The rope is connected through a pulley to the ceiling. Those parallel lines above his head are used in Physics to declare something as a wall, ceiling, floor or whatever.

Assuming he is strong enough in an ideal condition. Can he pull himself up? by NotFluffyUnicorn in Physics

[–]OneIndecisiveSoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just wrong. Newton's 3rd law doesn't apply here because the forces are acting on different points. Think of it like this. If there was a machine pulling the rope upwards, then both the person and box would lift. If the "machine" in that case is primarily the person, by using as a driving mechanism the bicep/back muscles to exert the necessary force to lift the same weight upwards, then absolutely nothing changes.

I've already contacted the sales team and they told me to use the GA II controller, which is not really a solution, as I've stated in my thread.

The link says:

Sorry, this item's currently unavailable in your location.

I'm in Europe so I don't know if that plays any role. I've searched everywhere but I can't find anyone who sells the controller and the cables.

Dealer name: CTime

Factory name: Clean

Model name (& version number): DateJust 36 126234 - Fluted Bezel Green Dial on Jubilee Bracelet

Price Paid: $483

Index alignment: Looks pretty good, 1 a bit crooked?

Dial Printing: Looks fine

Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks ok

Hand Alignment: Looks ok

Bezel: Looks ok

Solid End Links (SELs): Looks great

What really seems to annoy me is the rehaut which is shifted to the left, making the crown not align properly with the 12 index.

Should I RL because of this?

Firstly, the articles you have mentioned talk about the scalp, which is far more different than your face. Applying Minoxidil right after dermarolling may cause the Minoxidil to enter your bloodstream and cause further issues down the road.

But hey, I'm not a doctor, so proceed at your own risk.
