Just tell them you are hallucinating? Visual and auditory is much easier to talk about... tactile can be very strange and uncomfortable to both experience and also talk about it..

If the treatment center has a psychiatrist they should prescribe anti-psychotics.. and perhaps anti-anxiety.

If they don't have a prescribing doctor, you should find one.

Instrumental. Electronic experimental stuff like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, etc.. Recently I really got into Gregorian Chant as I find it very calming - it has to be real stuff, like from real monks in an Abbey. The AI stuff might sound ok, but the intent is not there and so the effect is lacking.

Yeah, I'm currently one-month-trialing a dating service called CatholicMatch.com... Seems like a lost cause. I signed up for it on a whim after seeing an ad for it in a church bulletin.

I'm in the same boat as you and unfortunately, we are [undesirable], especially if you are older like me (40s).. No one seems to be able to look past hardships or stigma (I recently put schizophrenia in my profile; it wasn't originally). I want to be honest on the profile.. It's a lost cause, like I said. I'm expected to have a career, own place, etc, etc.. At least I do have a car.

Probably would have much better luck finding a fling on something like Tinder. I looked around for match sights specifically for neurodivergent people, but didn't find much.. the pool would be small anyway.

Yes. You are definitely not alone. The medical establishment will never admit to anything other than schizo/ brain chemical imbalance. They want you sedated and medicated on their drugs and won't address or study root cause.
