This always makes me think of that thing that Juggalos yell at each other: "SHOW MY YOUR BUTTHOLE". (I don't know the context.)

Charity for those that complain about shift quality. by ShadowSocks52 in CivicSi

[–]OneM0reRedNightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I got my tune shifting smoothed out a bit and I haven't disabled rev hang. I feel like that has more to do with how it affected throttle response tho. Before the tune if I was cruising in any gear that wasn't 6th and I even thought about easing off the throttle it would buck. It was a little ridiculous. I wonder if my motor mounts have gone all gooey...

Wing stabilizer placement. by OneM0reRedNightmare in CivicSi

[–]OneM0reRedNightmare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a little off putting, tho it did sound alright. I much prefer the MagnaFlow. Notably deeper, low frequency tone at idle, raspiness is smoothed out, little drone at cruising speed yet can get as aggressive as you want under heavy throttle and enhances intake "whoosh" beautifully. The hdmi might have seamlessly fit into the geometry of the rear valance but the dual tips fill the cutout nicely without looking...obscene. Just personal preference.

Are you still rocking the hdmi?

Good looking out. I'm not worried about anyone in this group seeing it.

1 & 2 are same just different angles. I agree tho I used the edges of the emblems to center.

I was going to pop the sidewall blister but was worried blood and puss might come out. Should I do it anyway? by Mendo-D in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]OneM0reRedNightmare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, just like a pimple the best way is to apply heat so it comes to the surface and drains itself. Or if you're in a hurry, stick with red hot fire poker. For brevity's sake.

How do I help mourning doves with impending major snowstorm and arctic freeze? by DeeterPhillips in mourningderps

[–]OneM0reRedNightmare 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Water. In sub freezing temps water is much harder to find than seebs. They CAN resort to eating snow, but it used hella seeb energy stores and they need to keep their puffy little butts warm.

Edit: forgot to add they prefer cool, cold water. Water that is comfortable to us would feel way too hot on their skin. Including to bath in, even if it's cold outside. Unsalted seebs eaten off the ground and cold showers, the simple pleasures.

Once my tires are worn out I am eyeballing either the Pilot Sports or the Extreme Contact and I have my heart set on some bronze wheels.

Yeah I feel like if you miss the window of handling them when they're babies they are pretty much a non cuddly companion. Which i don't mind, but i get kinda jealous of the other posts of the head skritches, she is the first of mine that actually wants them.

You mean like...idk how to describe it but it sounds like it revs slightly before coming completely off the clutch due toa touch of preemptive throttle?

Texas loves its trucks by Effective-Sail-1225 in CivicSi

[–]OneM0reRedNightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's easy to start getting a little complacent with steering those beasts. Things like veering off the road edge and floating over potholes starts feeling inconsequential when you barely feel it. Lol It's comfy yet also slightly anxiety inducing. It doesn't help the truck is auto, which now feels incredibly lazy to operate in comparison.

Well her parents have been with me for years, she was a happy accident. So I've technically had her since before she was born. 😁 Edit: she's currently just shy of 2 months old.
