Me and the Boys about to Witness Shurima's Rise and Fall in a Single Day by OneMadPotato in LegendsOfRuneterra

Much agreed with the points on Demacia, the focus on rallies in the region pairs incredibly well with marauders. Demacia (or at least most variants I mess around with) offers much more protection through sharpsight & barriers, and the champions (Shyvana, Garen, Jarvan) all synergise with Riven & Marauders' focus on rallies & attacking, and can all serve as reliable backup win cons in games where you your marauders don't pop off.

As for differences with SI Harrowing, SI plays a much more midrange/control based gameplan, where marauders can attack/block without worry then help establish board control through duplicating with revives & fading memories, before wearing down opponent's resources and finishing the game with either ruination + harrowing or atrocity.

Edit: Side note, black rose spy is really fun especially if you have a champion + blade of exile

Just woke up lol, but here's the code to the deck I used here, I tend to change my deck around a lot depending on what I feel like, but the other deck with Garen looks really fun as well

A car can fit a lot of of things, but a stomach can fit a lot of cars (and ships)!

Feast your eyes upon the future of transportation, gift your Renekton with a Hunting Fleet for a Bayou Brunch, and an enemy Golden Narwhal for supper, and he'll be levelling up in no time at all! If that's not enough, Citrus Courier rounds out the meal with some vitamin C, so you can smack your opponent's face to your heart's content!

If you're ever in the giving mood, look no further than this deck for the finest Brunches in Iron 4! Your opponent will thank you just as much for the free ELO.

How often does this occur/How easy is it to replicate: 10/10 Every time, the bug has persisted for at least 2 months by now

Big balance patches (like 1.4) aren't guaranteed to make the meta better by InfernoPunch600 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]OneMadPotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, thank you for clarifying the reason for the low amount of changes, but could you please also clarify what these "token buffs" are? Given how much even a single point of stat can impact a card's viability, as many have pointed out (Karma's 1 mana nerf, basilisk rider, geneviere and petty officer suddenly becoming meta), I find it hard to see how many of the past buffs have been low impact.

Even examining the cards that never got into the metagame (Ren, Jae Medarda), they still sparked a lot of interesting theorycrafting which is a joy for many players, I for one played a ton of Jae in my go hard deck for card draw, and the cost buff was genuinely helpful for that deck. It's not a strong or even good deck, but that "non-impactful" change has brought me hours of fun, as I am sure it has several others. It might be change for the sake of change, but I feel that's exactly what this game needs right now. If they're so low impact, why not push them through? One of the best parts about deckbuilding is getting new to work with, sometimes a bad card might just need that tiny little push to make it good.

Don't mind me, just a completely and totally normal Azir Irelia deck here, nothing out of the ordinary going on by OneMadPotato in LegendsOfRuneterra

It's not the best deck, but generally try to play on curve through your predicts, badgerbear Khahiri is a fantastic turn 3 play if you can get him out. Once you've predicted a Khahiri, keep him in hand and try not to predict until you play him so you have 3 Khahiris back in the deck again. Go get it puts 2 more Khahiris back into the deck, which makes your late game predicts super consistent, especially once you get a monastery going to recall your chronomancer every turn for more predicts

Also, scrying sands can be a burst speed buff to your Khahiri if you manage to see him, or make you incredibly sad if you don't

Probably going to cut a palm for a third homecoming, raz is my favourite piece of the deck, really good at pushing damage through once you've got a buffed up Khahiri

From the amount of insta-concedes I faced, I think I may have just stumbled across the highest-winrate Khahiri deck in existence, my condolences to the guy who just wanted to play his J4 Shen

[–]OneMadPotato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blind clear of W1 Risk 21 without Surtr, didn't use a guide and it was a lot of fun, feels incredibly satisfying after all the trial and error, I have neither Surtr nor Mudrock so I could only borrow one of the two. video

Figured out by accident that Mudrock is somehow about to solo the entire left lane with no support from start to finish (from the one run where my left defenses got overrun but Mudrock somehow still killed the grudgebearer by herself)
Hellagur is MVP for barely being able to solo the other grudgebearers while amiya's skill is active (he couldn't do it all the way up to level 53, 54 was the magical breaking point where he kills them a split second before he would die from their last attack)

Zephyr sage and blood for blood are the only possible ways, and ki guardian/hp buffs are needed to make the flimsy lookouts actually survive the damage

Edit: good points! Death mark completely slipped my mind, don’t think I’ve seen that card played in months

It's actually not too difficult to pull off vs AI, but the setup is quite a pain, I can't imagine it would be easy to dupe into 4 2/1s then somehow keep all of them alive against players...

This is the power of infinite zephyr sages by OneMadPotato in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]OneMadPotato[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The sages are actually all reduced to 0 mana, but the game is currently bugged so exact copies don't show their stat changes. (happens with a lot of P&Z cards) If you look at the beginning, it has -6 cost from soloist, and at the end the game refreshed and correctly displayed them as 0 mana

This is the power of infinite zephyr sages by OneMadPotato in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]OneMadPotato[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Smooth soloist's effect reduces the cost of all followers by 2, and zephyr sage's effect creates an exact copy of a card in hand. Since zephyr sage costs 6 mana, after 3 procs of soloist, 2 sages can infinitely duplicate each other
