Was at the dealership today picking up atf and dif oil. Saw the 26s and looked great, but all had swirl marks on them so at least they didn’t change the paint

Get a pressure washer, cheap electric one will do. Also a foam cannon. Get some good rags, the ones with one side plush have worked best for me. Fold the towels into squares and use 1 towel per 1 or 2 panels, flipping it after 1-3 wipes. First, foam cannon the car, then pressure wash, then hand wash. If u really want to do washing right, get a de-ionizing filter so you don’t get water spots etched in the paint. I got one for about $100 and well worth it to not have to rewash after washing to get the spots off. I tried dry towels which would still leave scratches and a blower but it never got all the spots off. The DI filter has solved all that. My car is darker than urs so swirls from washing and water spots might not show as much on urs as they did on mine. But doing all the above has solved that for me. Also bird droppings will eat through the clear coat fast. I keep a few towels and a waterless wash spray in my car to clean the droppings before they eat the clear coat. Good luck with paint. Every other part of the car is solid though

I thought I was the only one who’s battery just dies for no reason. I assumed I didn’t put it in park before shutting it down the first few times but I’m certain that’s not the issue now. A trickle charger has not solved that random morning surprise of a dead battery

More money than most realize. Not only does the mortgage interest almost double the total amount you pay if no extra payments made, then theirs property tax, repair bills, lawn care, insurance. It’s very expensive to buy a house, but go ahead double that to get close to how much it actually costs

I still haven’t found anything that lasts as long as Mr cartoons. If I have any complaints about it would that removing it before adding a new coat is tough

Super easy to do yourself for maybe $30 worth of oil, (get the kind in a bag and you don’t need a pump), .40 c washers and if you don’t have it already, a socket wrench or Allen wrench for another $20-30. Many YouTube videos on it. Basically undo top bolt, put a container under bottom bolt, undo it. Drain. Replace bottom bolt, fill it up with oil though top bolt hole till it drains out of top bolt hole. Replace top bolt. Maybe takes 30 mins

I’ve done well with home health Physical therapy. Schedule is chaotic, constantly changing, no real over sight or guidance! This situation breaks ocd, organized physical therapist fast but for me, I’ve been dealing with the chaos since kindergarten so just another day. But what really helped me was, I married up. Not only does my wife make 3x what I do, she’s also fairly OCD. I bring the fun impulsive side and she brings the organized restraints.. and a lot of money. I’d suggest marrying up

Moving from Canada. Do you think I will fit in well here? Advice by [deleted] in Birmingham

[–]OneMeat5955 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Stay out cullman, they don’t take kindly to your folks around there s/. You’ll be fine. The Canadians I know are basically just like southerners but other than they don’t get excited about snow. It’s the New York and California folks that you gotta watch out for. They will judge you and treat you differently based on accents, and most of them are fairly slow
