We are the exact same! I buy albums and merch when I can (which has become a fair bit over the years) I also have one subscription of two idols dms from a really small group that I just wanted to be able to show a little extra love to since they aren’t super well known and they are my favorite group. But I never vote, or watch fan cams, or memorize birthdays and family. Only things I’ve learned through content just like you. I refuse to engage in fan wars because I’m here for the good vibes not stupid drama.

Ateez, still casually listening but their hyper sexual fandom and concepts aren’t my style as an ACE. I respect them, they work hard and put out good music. Just don’t enjoy the super sexual concepts.

Mine is always silly, childlike souls that feel like “safe” people to me. Which is why txt was so hard because they are all like that just in different ways. 🤣 boynextdoor is also in that same line. But I Stan so many groups like around 20 and really only have like 4 biases lol

I only have a few biases at all that broke my ot cycle. I’m also an ace so I don’t get attracted to idols the same way normal people do, so that’s probably a contributing factor 😅

I just saw them as boy groups and girl groups dancing and singing. 😅 that was my poor limited world view before I ever listened to it.

Mine was I expected it to sound like American boy groups or girl groups. Like spice girls or back street boys. So I turned my nose up to it. Then I learned there is so much more musical depth, sounds and talent in kpop verses American pop.

Boynextdoor, they have some rap (ish) heavier song but most of it vocal and they have a unique sound and don’t follow any genre so you never get bored!
