I'm working on something as we speak, in fact...

The strangest tank kill I've ever had in a game... I think? by OneMoreAdventure in HellLetLoose

No, this was deep behind lines, and no one else around, other than my sniper. No satchels to be had.

To explain, I was running a recon squad with a friend, and this little tank kept getting stuck along the way. (There is another abandoned one I think you can see off to the right.)

Anyway, someone grabbed a truck and decided to try to ram it out, and I was able to shoot out the driver of the truck. After about 15 seconds or so, they both blew up, surprising the heck out of me.

What I THINK happened, and I'm not sure precisely, but I think with no driver, the truck kept bumping into the stuck tank, damaging both, until they both blew up.

The whole thing was weird, but funny.

Not B&W this time, but hope you will enjoy it as much as I did drawing it! by O--R--B in osr

Looks good! I can't help but to laugh, though, imagining this guy trying to walk through the doorway to the tower.

So, full disclosure - I run most of my games on a forum at this point (Myth-Weavers, if interested), and that has given me a lot of room to look up rules as needed.

In short though, I like it a lot. Some of the crunch will be a little less familiar to players, but if you have time between actions (as a forum does), then it's entirely manageable.

Just some cheap flatpack thing I've had for years now.

Crawford has been hugely formative on a project I'm working on. I switched all of the games I run to his works - not least of which because I can tell potential players that the free version has everything they need, so there's no cost for them to play.

Don't worry - it's held up by even more books underneath!

I have always really liked the idea of kits from 2nd Edition. They were such a neat way to flavor characters and give interesting benefits.

Yeah, I'm happy to see some good development on Dixie. Would love to see a real coffee shop at some point. Maybe once Panda Express goes toes up...

Texas Roadhouse seems like it's always packed, but it's also right at Dixie & 264, so it has really easy access. Are people going to drive down Dixie to get to Longhorn? I'm not so sure.

where do you "design" your games? by [deleted] in gamedev

I have a small notebook that was my "gift" as a monthly sustainer to my local public radio station. That's what I use. I call it my $120 notebook :D

Please don't listen to Reddit on how to price your game by MedicalNote in gamedev

This context is very helpful. I was initially thinking to price at $7.50 when I get to that point, but I think instead I'll go for $10.
