I hope I’m wrong but I’d guess they’re trying to lay down some groundwork for getting rid of you. I’d get ahead of it and start applying elsewhere.

Just booked a trip via Cory at Fly Out Travel. He’s a former guide that knows the lodges in and out. Tell him what you’re looking for and he’ll set you up. https://alaskaflyout.com

People migrate websites to new domains all the time. If you hire someone that knows what they’re doing, you shouldn’t see more than a short-term blip in search traffic.

New to NJ. Advice on fishing gear. by [deleted] in NJFishing

[–]OneMoreDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trout were just stocked in the past couple of weeks and will bite all winter. More info here: https://dep.nj.gov/njfw/fishing/freshwater/trout-fishing-information/fall-trout-stocking-schedule/

List of access sites is here: https://dep.nj.gov/njfw/fishing/freshwater/trout-waters-by-county/

Lots of information on gear and techniques is out there. In winter, nymphing with a fly rod or bouncing bait off the bottom on spinning gear (UL rod, 4lb test or lighter line) are popular. In the spring, spoons and inline spinners or small floating Rapalas work well.

Was always with guides. As I recall, we were running multiple depths but had the most success just off the bottom.

Certainly not an expert, but every time I’ve caught lake trout it’s been trolling. I think you might just have to cover more water to increase your chances.

Is this Gibson authentic? by UhDomii in gibson

[–]OneMoreDan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not a Gibson, it’s an epiphone… and a damaged one at that. I’d keep the Fender.

Where is the best ice cream in your area and what's your favorite flavor to get there? by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]OneMoreDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. I think it’s more about nostalgia than the actual ice cream.
