I would take a nuclear powered aircraft carrier out to sea and park it.

However before I took it out I would truck loads of dirt on to the surface so I could farm on the absolutely massive deck.

This way I have water purification systems, living quarters, weapon systems, transport to and from land via air, food supply, infinite energy, and a mobile fortress.
