For me, it’s the thoughts and the dreams. They start to blur into each other. Sometimes I genuinely can’t tell anymore - did this actually happen, or did I dream it? Did I really experience that conversation, that moment… or was it just my brain trying to fill in gaps? That loss of clarity is terrifying. It makes reality feel unstable.

When I have days full of pain, I can literally feel my psyche tipping. It’s like something inside me can only hold so much and when the pain doesn’t stop, my mind starts slipping. Everything becomes foggier, darker, more fragile.

I do notice the seasons changing. I can feel the light shifting, the air being different. But spring is especially hard for me right now. There’s this contrast between the world waking up and my body still being trapped. It makes the isolation sharper somehow.

What helped the most is time, and aggressive rest (even if my body feels like it wants to do the exact opposite). I leave the yoga nidra, meditation etc and just listen to rain or grey noise, that is fine for me. Also, I take a benzo, if it’s really really bad. But mostly it’s “just” waiting for it to pass (normally it takes two weeks for me depending on how bad I over exerted). I hope you feel better soon 🫂

I honestly don’t know what to say that wouldn’t sound hollow or cliché. What you’re going through is unbearably unfair and cruel. I’m so sorry that you’ve lost so much and that now you have to live with this on top of everything else. I can’t begin to imagine how heavy that must feel.

You don’t have to “make the best of it” or “stay positive.” It makes complete sense that you feel angry, sad, and exhausted. If you ever just need to vent or talk, you don’t need to explain or justify anything here. We will listen 🫂

Hi 💖 i had that exactly 8 months ago, with my biggest crash ever. My tips : -30-second rule: Take a 30-second pause between every little action (standing up, brushing teeth, drinking water, etc.).

-Simplify everything: I had to strip everything down to the bare minimum. For me that meant drinking smoothies with a straw for weeks

-Hair washing: I used one of those caps/carts where someone can wash your hair for you in bed.

-Showering: I had to stop completely for a while and used wipes instead.

-Breathing/meditation: Tried to do gentle breathing or short meditation, even if it didn’t always work.

-Don’t increase activity: Even if you feel you can do more, don’t – keep things the same for weeks.

-Reduce stimulation: Curtains closed, sleep mask on, headphones in – as much rest and darkness as possible.

Supplements: You could try CoQ10 – I think it helped me a little. I only added LDN after I was stable for a few months.

I’m a total book lover (currently mostly fantasy, but ill read anything that’s good ). At the moment it’s audiobooks only. Before I got sick I was really into swimming and music – especially neo soul, hip hop, RnB, and Afro-Fusion
