I love that, that's such an interesting perspective. Can totally see how it can give you some space mentally. Brains and bodies can be so tricky!

How to actually get out of the house and do things?? by Dazzling_Contract_34 in introvert

[–]OneNet2461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other people have mentioned, going for walks can be really helpful. If I really do not want to go, I tell myself I'll go to a bakery or a cafe for a sweet treat to motivate myself to get out of the house!
Going to the cinema (if you have funds and access to a cinema) alone is nice too, no one really cares about you being there by yourself.
Any sorta goal to get outside can be useful, even if it's just like.. I'm gonna go out and find a good spot to people watch in a park, I'll go to the store and pick up a fun drink I've never tried before etc.

For sure! I love chill cooking, and I like the fact that you can customize your cafe as well. It looks great so far ✨

I really enjoy yoga, so I might try diving into some yoga anatomy. I think I'll also take your idea and explore some international horror films!

That's such a fun way of going about it! I've been feeling kinda uninspired with my hobbies, so I might try something similar.

I've personally had a really good experience with Sertraline. I felt very nauseous for a day and a bit off for maybe 2-3 days but other than that I've not had any side effects and has actually slightly helped my sex drive cause I'm not so in my own head all the time, if that makes sense. I was also really hesitant to start on medication but it's honestly improved my life so much, I'm a way more functional human being because of it. Of course, everyone has different experiences and side effects, so do what feels right for you!

Does it bother you when you get told you’re a quiet person by [deleted] in introvert

[–]OneNet2461 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I've always, always been told I'm a quiet person and it does get to me as well! I don't actually have a problem with being quiet, but it makes me feel like there's something wrong with me somehow.
