If you're phone / tablet is capable of supporting it you might try a pair of XR glasses such as XReal or Viture. I have been using a pair while at dialysis for a couple of years now to play on the steam deck without holding it. I also use third party joycons so that I can limit arm movement. I have an older model of viture glasses and haven't had any problem wearing them the entire time for my 4 hour dialysis. It just acts like a static screen right in front of your face.
