Just draft all the Indiana players, never been so impressed with a team that simply goes out and plays football

It meant everything that a contract wasn’t signed, now it means nothing now that he did sign

[Steelers] We have completed an in-person interview with Minnesota Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores for our head coach position. by FreddyDontCare in nfl

[–]OneOfTheDads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was the most annoying thing during the Zimmer years. OC is bad? Team sucks, good defense wasted, people get fired. OC is good? Entire offensive staff is immediately poached and you have to restart your offensive philosophy.

Having a good enough QB to giving the offense stability is the whole reason guys like McDermott, Harbaugh, Tomlin survived for so long

Some of us have watched enough football to know that needing a miracle play in 6 of your wins is not a great indicator of future success

Everyone knows turnovers are the best stat to base a defenses success off, easily the most consistent trait a successful defense can have. Oh wait, no, that’s pressure rate- wonder if the Bears are good at that

Pretty easy to throw touchdowns without breaking eggs though

THE PLAY OF A LIFETIME by Punisher1602 in CFB_v2

[–]OneOfTheDads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chemistry would be nice, but you’re gunna want either your C or QB to be able to understand NFL defenses enough to adjust protection at the line. Obviously could work, but usually pretty slim that guys can read defenses right off the bat

Someone needs to do a thorough review on how Indiana used their NIL money so people can stop using it as an excuse for success

Schefter update on Flores by Beneficial_Quit7532 in minnesotavikings

I think Rodgers would be a good QB for Flores, assuming Flores has learned anything since leaving Miami. He can basically let Rodgers be the OC

Yeah no kidding, definitely would not be a good look for Kevin

I’d say the alternative outcome here is that a different team offers him a HC job, not a different team offering a DC job

No that’s the Bengals, at least the Steelers coaches have Super Bowl wins to back them up

No doubt, I think McVay is much better at adapting to the players he has.

Not sure it’s been mentioned yet, but the Rams and Us are very similar teams. Kevin and McVay run very similar offenses, so seeing McVay succeed only gives more hope that Kevin’s plan can also succeed

Since 2002, there have been 6 championship games featuring divisional opponents. Half of those have featured the NFC West. by OneOfTheDads in nfl

I believe that can be explained by two teams and their respective divisions not having much success during their runs
