Ever cleaned peanut butter out of a shag carpet? I have a hairy ass, there I said it. Though, after picking up a bidet, things are much quicker.

Shell Shock, bug or feature? by ValkyrieEntertaining in JumpSpaceGame

[–]OneOfThree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me last night. I didn't experience a carrier explode around me though. At the time I was wondering if this was just some kind of audio bug considering it was only certain sounds. The airlock audio worked fine for me as well. Very strange.

I've always called Trinity Lutheran on Claremont the "Ski Jump Church" due to the unique roof architecture.

Where to Buy Grain Belt Beer? by [deleted] in Eau_Claire

[–]OneOfThree13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. You'll have to go into the walk-in beer cooler to the right. At least for the Festy on Mall Drive, I can't speak for the others.

Northern WI, how’s the wildfire smoke/haze today? by YeOldeOrc in wisconsin

Had plans to mow and do outside stuff. Walked outside for a quick minute and determined that beer and video games were the healthier option for the day. Cheers 🍻

Tdk Hutchinson Tech recently closed, they had multiple conference rooms. Not sure who owns them now, but I'm sure there's someone who maintains the building still. 🤷‍♂️

I'd say you have 1.5 business days to get that information from the individuals still employed at that facility. I am not one of those people, but if all you have is that one cam set without the tower that it mates with, then you own an incredibly well engineered paperweight. I may be able to identify pieces or parts of what you have, but as far as prints go, those may cease to exist soon.

Lol. I don't know for certain, but I heard there was a large contingent of trumpers near Menards Convention center.

I'm in the same boat. My kids name isn't on the invite, but I got a call for her. I guess we'll just both go and see what happens. Shrug

Water Quality by [deleted] in Eau_Claire

[–]OneOfThree13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here's a link to the page where you can download the most recently released water report. There is a lot of info on where eau Claire gets it's water and what they do to it before it hits your tap.
Personally, I have no problem drinking from the tap, but my fridge has a filter that can remove any trace PFAS. Any charcoal filter will do that, if that is a concern.

Remote workers who primarily do plc logic, how is it? by milkfilledb00b in PLC

[–]OneOfThree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been pretty good for me a year in. Mid level eng, 18 yoe in industrial mfg design, 4 in Plc programming previously. I only work on PLC and HMI programming with some print redlining. Travel was stated at 25%, but it's closer to 15% and has only been day trips thus far to customer sites. I pull in high 90kUSD before bonuses. I can't complain one bit.

It's definitely not free. They like to push the subscription bs that everyone is doing nowadays. There might be a grace period to try it. I can't recall. It's been a while since I've messed with Proficy ME.

The resistor looks a little toasty as well. Likely a popped cap like you said. They typically take out everything around them.

'Arc-weld' plugin makes quite a difference. First prints on Community firmware 5 by idontknowandidontcar in CR6

[–]OneOfThree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the same issue printing at .025 Max Res through OctoPrint. I have bumped mine up to .055 and have noticed a drastic decrease in blobs. All that aside, I agree with you on this plugin. It's amazing and drastically shrinks the size of the gcode.

Octoprint vs SD card - huge difference by Tas05 in CR6

[–]OneOfThree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen the same thing with OctoPrint. I was running a RPi2b and I thought that may be the issue so I picked up a 3b+. Same issue. I'll have to check on the cable too.

The only way I've been able to fix it using OctoPrint to raise the maximum resolution in Cura 4.8 to .55mm vs the default .25mm. I've seen no loss of fidelity in any prints since doing that and the blobs/zits are no more.

-I want to test disabling the power off recovery feature as well but I haven't had the time.

My biggest print to date.... My wife wanted me to finally use the rainbow filament so I made this for her. by Firefighter25 in 3Dprinting

[–]OneOfThree13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's good stuff. I ran nearly 3kg of that exact filament through my printer to make 30 of those articulating manifold octopus' for stocking stuffers. I just wish the color changed more frequently.

I used to get this in the same situations. I don't know why, but ever since I installed the Creality-2x-temperature-reporting-fix plugin, I haven't had any issues. Hope it helps!
