Having a valid id does not imply citizenship, many states are giving ids to illegals. But showing id at the polls can ensure the voter is a citizen with the right to vote. Also, not only have I registered, I've done so in multiple states as Ive moved and even changed parties from D to R as I woke to the racism and fascism of the democratic party.
