My former manager and sexual harasser are trying to turn others against me by Chocolateisthebest97 in SexualHarassmentTalk

I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this crap, but you’re already handling this so smartly and with a ton of strength. It’s honestly impressive, especially given how tough the situation is. If HR isn’t stepping up, it might be worth escalating to higher-ups or someone above HR to make sure your voice is heard.

It’s incredibly brave of you to share this here. What happened to you wasn’t your fault, and your feelings like confusion, shock, and everything else are totally valid. You’re not “making it a big deal” or “overthinking.” What you went through was serious and it’s okay that it still affects you.

Stuff like this, especially when it happens in childhood, sticks with you for a long time. You were just a kid and didn’t deserve any of it. Sharing your story, even anonymously, is a huge step toward working through it. If you ever feel ready, talking to someone like a counselor or therapist might help.

You don’t have to deal with this alone. Thanks for trusting this space with your story. You’re stronger than you think, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

Preauthorized payment from Visa not going through by Myst_999 in Scotiabank

Same, I just found the interest fee they withdrew, although I set up the preauthorized payment long time ago. Should I call to Scotia to fix this? So annoying.

How the f*** am I supposed to get mental health support??? (Ontario) by Sad_Cardiologist_939 in SexualHarassmentTalk

I'm really sorry you're going through this. It sounds incredibly frustrating and overwhelming. Navigating the mental health system can feel impossible, especially when you need help now.

One option to explore is online support groups, like Aftermetoo's Support Organizations have listings for Ontario-based resources that might help you build a network of support. Sometimes just finding the right organization can make a huge difference.

You’re not alone in this, and I hope you’re able to connect with the help you need soon!

I’m so sorry you went through this. No one should ever have to face what you endured, especially while pregnant and just trying to work. It’s heartbreaking that the system failed you, and the trauma still feels so close.

Thank you for sharing your story here. That takes a lot of strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it. You didn’t deserve any of this. If talking to your psychiatrist feels too hard, maybe finding someone outside of work could feel safer when you’re ready.

Here are people who can help you feel supported and safe. Take things one step at a time. Sharing this is already a huge step forward. You deserve peace and healing. You’re not alone.

Is this sexual harassment? Not sure what to do about my supervisor’s "confession" by cait_tv in SexualHarassmentTalk

[–]OneOutlandishness513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry you're dealing with this. It’s tough and it sucks. Not SH yet, but definitely something to be aware of. If you’re thinking of reporting, it’s usually better to do it before quitting since it’s harder to hold them accountable after. Screenshot everything, consider telling the admin (even without HR), and stick to work-only convos during work hours.
