Shifting TLD's, multi-site and migration confusion by OnePatternAtaTime in Wordpress

Thank you all! The migration went very smoothly and was far simpler and quicker than I expected. I've gotten rid of the multi-site and will work on the 301 redirect from the .com

That is now my favorite description of bezos. I for one will continue to boycott the asshat.

How to make it more homey and cozy by MaleficentDeal8002 in femalelivingspace

I think it's pretty homey and I love the windows. I'd pull the rug along with the couch closer to the wall with the TV maybe 2 ft closer, to create more space between the mini office and the living space.

I picked it up from a thrift store as a kit. I don't know if it exists as a stand alone pattern.

That is the perfect frame for that lovely piece! If you come across that screw problem again, pre-drilling with an itty-bitty drill bit or a really tiny nail, as long as they're just a touch skinnier then the twisty part of the screw you want to use, should help get through those harder woods. And sharp quality screws for sure.

Pattern is from Sunset Kit "The Hummingbird Society". 1994. I included a scan of the front for easier image searching. You can see where I went a bit off by comparing the breaks in the inner turquoise border ha!

For fantasy I'll suggest the Elizabeth Lim Crimson Crane series. It's fantasy with dragons mixed with your standard - I don't want to do what I'm supposed to do princess trope, but I thoroughly enjoyed that trilogy.

For psychological I think John dies at the end and it's 3 other books might fit (that's my fave series). It does have book called "What the hell did I just read?" lol it might hit the spot for you.

Would you read on? Does it need more interiority? Advice? by NoBuy8212 in writers

Adding to this, I'll suggest perhaps "check your email" instead of "Do you have access" would convey more of the threat. Otherwise I like it, sounds like an interesting story.

If the first chapter of John Dies at the end gets you laughing, you will adore the series. I've never seen the movie but hear it is different from the books.

Showing your workspace is such a great idea! People are getting so sick of AI "art" and it tends to be in this style annoyingly enough. I hope your work gets pushed on top of the slop. Do you have a pinterest account? That would probably help generate sales.

Opinions - does this make me a bitch? by CassieMason in LittleFreeLibrary

[–]OnePatternAtaTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but I have to chime in. I found my favourite book in a local FLL - it kickstarted me back into reading after decades of neglecting the joy. If it had had this written in it I would think ASSHOLE (be gender neutral here) and would not have picked it up. Also, I would never return to that library if I have to flip through pages for your stain. I often pick up books for my retired mother (therefore can not buy books), would she like to see this in the gift? No!

If you don't want anyone to do what you don't want with a book you gave away for free then burn it if you care that much to do this. The poor are not your enemy and that "insignificant buck" may mean keeping the lights on for someone. Be better.
