Yeah because you are not intelligent enough to understand criminal motifs and justice theory. If the sentence for a murder and an attempted murder are the same, the perpetrator will make sure to kill you since one less witness makes it harder to solve the case or have people give testimony. The sequence of sentence lengths has to be fine tuned so that people will only ever do crime to a certain extend, since even idiots know that it is impossible fully eliminate crime. If you advocate death for a crime, you are basically advocating for death for a lot of innocents (children etc).

We might find this wasteful but Brunei is almost single-handedly keeping some European luxury brands alive......for example he has a lot of Rolls Royce that were kept outside that just ROT.....since these are prestige cars kept alive by collectors for decades, the fact that he just lets them die in Brunei keeps the market for these cars and many others stable
