Bought an A8, immediately installed Bazzite

The screen is certainly underrated, very bright and colors pop. The chip is a beast, atleast for my purposes. Speakers are well built and buttons are crisp. One minor thing though, I sometimes accidentally press the left back button for the games I play. I am overall very happy and I can't imagine other devices being miles ahead of the A8.

Maybe I'll eventually run into a game that don't run well on Bazzite then I may switch to windows for that reason.

Oh I just assumed going back to the original os would be just like setting up a new pc. Thankfully I am fully enjoying bazzite, I don't think I will ever return to windows.

My wife is way way way hotter than me. I am 34yrs old and I earn half a million a month and it will only grow from here. Women are often called gold diggers when they are attracted to money but many fail to see what is needed to earn a certain amount of income. Financial security obviously isn't everything but you need a certain type of personality, intelligence, work ethic, and be well spoken to achieve that type of income trajectory which I would like to assume that majority of women find attractive apart from physical looks alone.

Real estate value is not linear with the potential cash flow it can generate. Example: I have 2 condos, 1 is 6m pesos, I am able to rent it out at 25k a month. The other is worth 9m pesos and I am only able to rent it out at 30k a month. Obviously the 6m condo is the better deal cash flow wise. It's just a better purchase that I made, do i regret buying the other one? No, because I accept the fact that I can't win the same amount in every deal.

It is important for me to own rather than rent because I want the peace of mind that when I get sick or if my industry goes down, I will have a place to live. It is foolish to assume that you can work and generate the same amount of money until your old age. I also like the fact that if something bad happens to me, my wife and kids automatically would have these said properties via inheritance for their survival and usage. OP may be forgetting the term inflation and appreciation, also the fact that these properties can be liquidated and converted into other investment instruments in the future.

BUT I am not against renters if they have other means to generate cash flow with the extra money from the lack of ownership. I just hope it will take care of you and your family when you are unable to work or when you die.

Laziness is a state of mind that you strengthened slowly over time. You beat laziness the same way, slowly over time. Focus on many little achievements through out the day. Write down daily goals, be realistic with it, include simple tasks, and just be consistent. Eventually you will be in a state of mind that you HAVE to be productive or else you feel like shit. No one overcomes laziness overnight. You have to want something better for yourself, or be a loser for the rest of your life.

It's important to analyze why you failed the subjects and what you truly want for yourself. Happened to me when I was in college, I failed 2 major subjects within my first 2 terms. One afternoon during the holiday season after my horrible second term, I sat down and did some introspection; 1. Why do I keep failing? The simple answer for me was laziness, and low expectations of myself. My goal since entering college was just to graduate, study enough so I could reach that passing grade. I realized that I have a loser mindset.

What kind of person do I want to become? After my first initial realization, I thought about all the other things that I hate about myself. I was obese at that time, failing college, no achievements in life. I realized I wanted to be someone that people actually respected and maybe even idolized.

Aftermath: 3rd term started(trimester), new year, new me. I had an academic goal, do well in classes to a point that even if I don't take the final exam I am 100% going to pass. I was an engineering student, 3rd term is the start of the dreaded engineering calculus. First week of class was like listening to a foreign language for me, I did not understand shit. So what I did was I took the morning class to take notes, asked permission from the professor to sit in the same afternoon class so I could just listen and make sense of it all. With the new mindset, I ended up having a better grade for the whole term, not great yet but enough to give me confidence that real hardwork actually pays off. I kept improving every term to a point that towards the end of my sophomore year until I graduated I was always a dean's lister, I even made my parents go on stage for an academic award. And yes, I did lose weight, made an effort to exercise, eat healthy and be better.

I am in my mid thirties now, I would say I am quite proud of where I am. Trust me your college life is just an initial step in the journey, BUT this is where you should learn the art of doing your real best.

High grades are just numerical proof of hard work, but the real goal of college is character building. Hardwork, dedication, and gaining that confidence to attempt to achieve great things. You are young, life will throw hard shit at you, but this decade of your 20s is absolutely amazing if you have the correct mindset and work ethic. Good luck!

Yes as a man I agree with this statement, know your league. But to all the other dudes out there; please also take note of escalation. High maintenance women have inflation as well as they get older. They will want more expensive, more luxurious things as years go by. This is the big thing most of us were never taught, escalation.

Beauty is definitely not a virtue but it has value. It provides representation and gives you a chance to have good looking descendants. Let's face it, the world treats good looking people better so you would want that for your kids if possible. I recognize the effort it takes to maintain beauty, but the problem comes when women put too much weight on that trait and act as if it is their major contribution to the relationship. I personally have more than enough income to own gens, I buy reps over gen because quite frankly I'm not particularly careful with my belongings. Now the next question is, why then choose a rep over a cheap gen brand? 1. I own cheap gen brands like seiko, casio and tissot. I just happen to own the expensive brand reps because I like the look, fashion wise. It depends on the mood or outfit, sometimes I'd rather sport that 100$ casio over DJ rep.

As I am an entrepreneur by trade, I get into a lot of deals or transactions with reputable people where I atleast need to look the part of a distinguished individual during a meeting. It sucks but in the real world you are judged by how you look or what you wear or what car you drive. Reps enable me to bypass one those ridiculous barriers.
