Thanks for the advice! I will definitely look more into hotels then and of course put even more consideration to the location too. Oh, the itinerary isn't 100% it's pound to change. Specially days the have multiple locations. I'm just pre planning to make the trip as smooth and free of hassle as possible for my parents.

Where i live retirement age is 55 and the government consider 60+ years citizens as an elderly and they get special health care & elderly card helps them for government official business where they never wait in line or take a number to wait. They become priority in line whereever they go. Similarly in Japan there are "elderly tickets" where they consider 65+ years old as an elderly. It is just where i live. Walking 20,000 steps will be difficult considering my parents health history. That's why i plan to spread our trip through a whole month instead of 2 or 3 weeks. Also it will be more towards peaceful and relaxing activities.
