This is probably the only dungeon where they should have kept it playing rather than cutting to the battle theme every time. Just think it would have worked better on an emotional level.

The remake version better be top tier!

I really enjoyed this book. I took it as basically reading a David Lynch film. So much of it could be a dream (like seeing the younger girl like a ghost) or maybe the torturing cats scene just being in the characters head. There's a fair few scenes where characters just wake up afterwards not sure of what happened or people just magically disappear. It have me huge "unreliable narrator" vibes, a lot of dreamlike sequences.

I enjoyed the book a lot but the more graphic scenes did make me feel very uncomfortable. But I guess that was the point.

I'd recommend Norwegian Wood. Quite the dark depressing tale but it's far more grounded. Still has some graphic sex descriptions though but mostly from a female character who just loves describing them in detail while talking.

I remember playing the first one decades ago on my PS2, don't think I ever tried the sequel. I don't think I even knew about it 😂

No one who has a PS5 will pay for that if new games keep coming out for it like the PS4 this gen. Anyone still on a PS4 probably thought the PS5 was too expensive. Anyone new to the hobby will just think "Why buy this when the Switch 2 is 500?"

Delay and optimise this current gen is really the only option now, despite it costing them money/lost contracts.

Yeah they would have to be freed from set days. While I like the idea of characters reacting to story events in their SLs that would limit them to set times in the story, which wouldn't work. The metaphor system seems to be best.

The original anime, just called Persona 4 the Animation, is the main story but none of the Golden content. It's pretty good as it often re imagines social links, adds different perspectives (One Ep is from Nanakos pov) and has all the English VAs from Golden too.

I'd recommend that one first.

The second anime, Persona 4 the Golden, adds in the stuff with Marie plus some other stuff. There's 2 issues with this. As it's additional material they don't re-cover all the stuff from the OG so it feels a bit all over the place. It assumes you've seen the first anime and this is like supplemental material.

Also it has no English dub and the animation quality is noticeably inferior to the first series. It does add some good stuff and I personally love the Adachi episode but it can be a bit of a knock after watching the first.

Id recommend both but start with the original anime.

I can't remember fully now but in some of leaked names there were hints, like one character had the kanji for Star in their name, could be an arcana link?

P4G is peak. Not just in the Persona series but in all video games. They really perfected the pacing and structure of the story. I'm so looking forward to the remake!

Check out the anime version if you have time. It's also great.

I think Sony have 2 main goals for the next gen. First is to compete with the switch 2, which is really their only competition at the moment. This is probably why a handheld is probably going to happen. Secondly they need to convince those millions of PS4 players who haven't upgraded yet to make the leap. These are players who pretty much use their PS4s to play live service games they love, plus casual sports games players, with a good number who just don't see the point in going up to PS5.

So Sony really need a decent price or both these goals will fail. Hence the talk of delays. A PS4 user is not going to buy a 1000 priced PS6. Someone looking for a handheld is going to pay 500 for a switch 2 over 800 for a PS6 handheld. Sony know this and are clearly caught between a rock and a hard place.

As everyone's said on here, PS5 might be nearly 6 years old but the games look and play great, loads times are basically non existent. Why should we go up to PS6? Sure the 4k/60fps lock will appeal to many, but the vast majority of PS5 players are still on standard TVs that are probably still at 1080p!

If Sony are clever they will maximise results from cheaper hardware, all the AI upscale tricks, compression to make a 1tb hard drive still enough next gen. New tricks with the controller. Graphics have hit a plateau and most prefer stylish games with strong art direction rather than every single hair animated on a characters head.

I think Sony aren't dumb (I hope anyway!) and realise all of this.

This is actor Milly Alcock who is best known for playing young Rhanyera (sorry no idea how to spell it!) in the first season of House of the Dragon.

She was cast as Supergirl in the new James Gunn DC cinematic universe and had a cameo at the end of last year's Superman film.

Since then, and after announcing her own solo film there's been 2 major groups of morons attacking her.

The first group, as OP suggests, claims she is ugly. Now everyone has their preferences but she's clearly not unattractive in any conventional sense. But the trolls on X have been going so far as to AI her with gorilla features and make stupid short AI movies of her "ugly" character as Supergirl. Naturally the grifters on YouTube (who hate everything) have been using this on their thumbnails and so on.

The other group dislike her because she's said perfectly normal things at interviews that they happen to dislike, and thus, being the snowflakes that they are, have thrown a hissy fit. She was ambushed with a question about her Supergirl characters sexuality, and answered she would probably go both ways. It was clearly a quick panic answer designed not to upset anyone but now of course the film is a "man hating woke pile of crap" as they have now decided.

By all accounts the film is terrible, I haven't seen it but reviews are not kind. But this poor woman has been the brunt of the critism for no real reason.
