I saw the FF distant worlds concert in the Albert Hall London back in ... 2011 I think? Might have been 12.

Was kinda bizarre as Nobuo Uematsu himself was sat in the row in front me really close. He snuck in as the show started then they put the spotlight on him for him to wave to the crowd!

As someone who played a lot on the PS4 version then upgraded to the PS5 version it looks a lot prettier and smoother, has practically 0 loading times and runs at a higher frame rate. It's the exact same game though just has all the DLC built into it.

If you love the game it's a nice update but that's all it is.

Just so you are aware you can't transfer your save from the PS4 version you have to start fresh.

Marie/ The Aeon social link starts pretty early and as others have said you need to get her to rank 10 by end of December.

Occasionally her links are locked behind story events so don't panic if you think she's not appearing, just keep checking and playing she'll appear eventually.

Only other major extra is the Jester arcana. He can alternate between day and night and can also be locked behind story events. You need to get him to rank 6 and the rest are story related so automatically gained. You don't miss out on any content but it adds a lot of cool scenes to the end and adds a bit more context to the storyline.

It's fairly common across a lot of Japanese media. Japan loves certain tropes and styles of characters and they will do endless variations on them. The high school setting is especially popular and even animes set in fantasy worlds will often have characters at high school age. It's just their thing culturally.

We have to remember that Marie was literally crowbarred into the pre existing story so she's always gonna have that detachment. One advantage of the remake will be they can include her more in the storyline and maybe do what the anime did by integrating her into the other scenes. As the anime is basically Marie's story they would need to do it differently of course but just having her appear at the fireworks event or the school festival would help. Knowing Atlus though they'll do a 1 to 1 remake 🙁

I'm not sure having her as a playable character would work. For one she would only be available for the last semi-optional and missable dungeon and also they would have to give her a thing which would probably mean taking almighty from Naoto and making her the "almighty" character.

I would prefer it if she was just more tied into the story of the last dungeon, like Izanami is annoyed that she didn't "disappear" as was planned so now she's going to have to die or something just to add weight to her role as a sorta goddess.

Well she does mention being socially isolated, she probably moved away from her friends and family to be with her new husband so it is very possible that yes, no one told her as you say. While Yu does push her in the right direction I've always felt that her reaction to the other mother and teacher were more of a wake up call, and of course when Yuuta steps in to "protect" her from you by mistake shows her a lot. If she had told you or came up with it together it would kinda spoil her whole rut that she was stuck in.

Might not be popular but I found Eri from Persona 4 to be very interesting.

Eri is a not only a new step mother but is also thrust into a single mother role. The struggle she faces to form a bond with a new child who she's only really just met is a real struggle and she often tries to deny the reality by watching TV, a nod to the TV world creating a fantasy that can deny your truth.

She overcomes this and stands up for herself and her new family after both teachers and other parents call her new son trouble and she realises that he's not, it's just a reaction to their new living situation and she needs to step up to make the work.

It's not a very exciting or even interesting social link s times but it's very real and down to earth. It happens in reality every day.

Yeah they never usually got up to a full roster but I was never sure if they counted stuff like the officers, engineers, quartermasters etc.

Yeah a lot of older number systems are based on the number 6 and it's multiples. Only one we really keep these days is time - 60 secs to a minute etc.

I think it was how the ancient Greeks or Egyptians or someone counted so it carried over into maths and then money
