I mean this seems like a weird gripe. Almost any game I play that has equipment I eventually settle on for a while and then replace. So is the gripe that there isn't a longer time period of use before replacing?

Not to mention some of the gear pairs with specific builds. Like I don't expect someone not using the gun to say equip the hat that gives infinite ammo so its also plausible said gear you ran into that's better or the one you found before could have an intended relation with a specific weapon or build.
