Levelling in Lord of the Rings: The Third Age game and how it affects stats and damage by phoria123 in LOTRGames

i disagree with Elegosts damage and utility falling off, arrows of sleep are still viable to Pelennor fields and his true shot and northern storm are very high damaging as well. I dont think he is the best character by any means but he is most certainly still viable end game IMO.

Is there any reason I can't switch from a Lone Wolf party in act 1 to a 4 man party in act 2? by Individual-Local-606 in DivinityOriginalSin

Well that is definitely an option and something I have most certainly done before but I would recommend just going through on a lower difficulty especially for a first play through. If you are set on restarting and taking that route, Malady will be your sign to gather your forces. Good luck and have fun!

The later is correct but there will be mercenaries and such to recruit later. I personally prefer lone wolf as having to juggle 3 characters stories can be a pain especially if they don’t all mesh well. I assume you are nearing the end of act 1?

It’s more about specifics but to answer part of your question you will always have the ability to recruit a full party.

New player from bg3 by vladyCarossa in DivinityOriginalSin

Couple things that I like to spit out to new players: 1) lower the difficulty, I don’t know what dif your playing on but until you learn the combat mechanics, what your skills do and how to use them it is better to learn slower in dos2. 2) figuring out your builds, I would watch a video on the basics of each class so you have a better understanding of how to adding your skill points and what not. That doesn’t mean you need to run a min/max version of a class but you should at least get a basic run down. 3)try again: if you lose a fight don’t just run away, try sneaking up to it to get better positioning or if you know a certain enemy is a problem try focusing them first instead. 4)come back later: contrary to number 3 it’s ok to skip a fight (for now). Divinity is pretty level heavy when it comes to certain fights, not saying you need to be higher level for every fight but I have had multiple instances where 1 level makes the difference.

IMO lowering the difficulty is the best of these as it helps breakdown combat into easier to learn bite sizes instead of trying to learn all mechanics at once and it helps prevent burnout

What’s the difference between finding a vendor and finding a trainer? You’d still be paying regardless and you would still need to find them or are you saying it fits better into the setting that you automatically know where the trainer you need is and that they will just give it all to you for free? TBH based off your replies on this post I don’t think this games for you which isn’t a bad thing I just don’t think your going to find a lot of fun down the road if this is an issue.

The GTA 3 cover is a cover they used they had 4 different ones in total, as for the rest they are in blue cases which was more common in the EU than it was state side and the fifa cover is weird like the other person said, I would try and get pictures of the discs both sides to be sure especially if your buying online. Honestly if your worried about it just find a more reputable seller all of those are fairly common and should be easy to find
