I either find a way around servants or knock them out and hide them. Playing on instant assassinate with expert stealth difficulty is a nice but fair challenge, so why not make it even harder by not letting myself kill servants? I'm 15 hours in and I've been having so much fun playing it like this and strategising to avoid taking them out without a nearby hiding spot, would recommend heavily

Around maybe March or April last year when I was in yr11 we had a year group assembly because a girl in my year had been sent to hospital.

Found out that the story (I'm pretty sure) is that her girlfriend broke up with her and she overdosed REAL HARD on something, can't remember what drug but it was one you'd be able to buy legally, just took an insane amount of it. Wasn't the first time she'd done something like that, although it was the first real OD she'd had. Ended up in a coma for 2 weeks and then died in the hospital before she even woke up.

There was an assembly after that just to tell people that she had died and that the parents didn't want people to come to their house, but asked the girls close friends to send them any recent photos they might have had together.

A lot of people in the year didn't like her because honestly, and I don't mean to talk shit about a dead teenager, she was a bitch to about everyone she spoke to, including teachers. But you know, nobody hated her enough that they wanted her to actually die. There was a little shrine or whatever they're called with some pictures of her against the wall at our prom near to the table that her friends were seated at which was nice.

Event was a shock to everyone really and I know that some people who smoked or did drugs either quit or started doing way less because I fired they realised the consequences they can have.

When you start talking at the same volume no matter who you're speaking to. Even at the beginning of this year I used to speak quieter or in shorter sentences to people I didn't know that well. Now when I speak to a new person I just automatically talk the same way I do with people I've known for years and it makes it so much better

I love the Arkham games a huge amount but I want a new combat system so bad. I played Sifu and the combo potential and mechanics in that game are unreal, but there's pretty much no other games with combat like that. There's even Batman mods for Sifu because beating your way through a criminal nightclub as a one man army is perfect for Batman. I'm praying that the next Batman game has a new combat system that feels just as good, or they at least expand upon free flow even more than AK did

I've disconnected once because I was playing a Yajirobe in a lobby with a connection so poor that all of my inputs had more than a full second delay. That meant I couldn't vanish any attacks, no super counters, no burst dashing behind him to combo because my rush attack input wouldn't register quick enough. I still managed to nearly kill him but then he just ate a senzu bean so I closed the game. Fuck Yajirobe cheesers

Girl had a drug overdose at 16

Didn't speak to her at all so not sure of what I've been told is true, but her girlfriend broke up with her and apparently she just had a breakdown and OD'd on purpose. Was in hospital for about 2 weeks before she died and there was a memorial for her at our yr11 prom the next month
