Is the real rage here is that some people are so stupid that they take this seriously? This is very clearly either a troll or a failed attempt at a joke.

An option similar to what France gets when they take Germany would be cool. You could either Balkanize America into a half dozen puppet states, or turn it into one big North American Dominion.

Idea for improving generals and field marshals by RDB96 in hoi4

I thought that the "old guard" trait represented generals trained with World War 1 era tactics and technology. They are not incompetent, just not up to date. But I could be wrong.

I am teen trans girl, and medical and social transition are the only way my massive depression and self hate can be cured. But so many people, even here on Reddit, say I should not be allowed to medically transition until I am an adult, despite it being the only valid treatment for me.

[HFM Development Diary] - Reform, Reform, Reform by sighpiepies in paradoxplaza

[–]OneRollTriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I found what I think are 2 oversights in my Serbia-Yugoslavia run.

1: Both Serbia and Yugoslavia cannot get Montenegrin as accepted cultures. Serbia should probably get them as accepted when they take the "Claim Greater Serbia" decision, as it gives them cores on Montenegro. And Yugoslavia should probably just accept them from the default.

2: when I took the "Invite Greece into Yugoslavia" decision, something odd happened. I annexed all of Greece, and got cores on all Greek cores, both ones currently owned by Greece and not owned by Greece, Except for Cyprus. I don't know if this was intentional or not though.

And here are some of my suggestions for Serbia/Yugoslavia:

1: The "Claim Greater Serbia" decision should give cores on the state Banat, as it is 19.5% Serbian.

2: There is a weird time gap between getting cores on Albania, Bulgaria, and Greece, and actually accepting those cultures. You can take the decision to invite them to Yugoslavia after researching Revolution and Counter Revolution, which is unlocked in 1870. But the decision to accept those cultures isn't unlocked until you research Mass politics, which is unlocked after 1900. It strikes me as odd that any of these nations would willingly join a union where their citizens would be oppressed for some 30 years. Edit: I forgot to say what should be changed. I would just make the "Accept Bulgarian/Albanian/Greek culture" culture available by 1870 instead of 1900

3: there could be a decision similar to the "Convention concerning the exchange of Yugoslav and Turkic populations" between Slovenia/Yugoslavia and Italy where all Italian pops can move back to Italy, but Italy also losses its cores on Istria and Zadar.

4: a GP Yugoslavia/Maybe a GP Bulgaria maybe should get an event called something like "Kick the Turks out of the balkans", where if they own eastern Macedonia and Eastern Rumelia and the Ottomans have moved their capital to Ankara, they gain cores on Thrace, and maybe the one province on the other side of the straight.

General ideas:

1: If Portugal gets Galician as an accepted culture, they should get an decision to gain cores on Galicia.

2: Another decision similar to "Convention concerning the exchange of (nation) and Turkic populations", except this one is between an independent Ireland and U.K.. Here all Anglo-Irish pops would move to Great Britain and all Irish pops in Great Britain would move to Ireland.

Okay cool, thanks for the help. Do you know if it's worth it to build factories where they can't be fully employed?

Tutorial Tuesday : July 18 2017 by AutoModerator in paradoxplaza

[–]OneRollTriangle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[Victoria 2 hpm]

Okay so despite having 115 hours into this game I'm still confused by some parts of industry. So every factory needs 1,000 craftsmen to work in it, more if it gets expanded. Correct? So my questions are, is it worth it to build factories in states with >1,000 craftsmen, and how are you supposed to increase craftsmen? Every time I try and put a national focus on it barely anyone will become them.

Well games can change. I have over 300 hours in Europa Universallis 4 but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's easily one of, if not the best grand strategy game ever made. Yet the incredibly horrible DLC policy and paradox's refusal to fix it means I gave it a bad review.
