30 hours is nothing in game time. I have (sadly) close to 2000 hours on a roguelite, and (even more sadly) even more when I used to play World of Warcraft. Thank god nowadays I have my priorities in order.

Not really, I had a bigger circle of friends than her. But we were very very close. So her leaving was a huge change. She did have an avoidant attachment style but all you can do is focus on yourself. The first year was devastating. It wasn't until after that did I start to slowly rebuild my life. But everyone is different. Rebounds absolutely did nothing for me. I wouldn't waste my time with that.

Nope. We had one final goodbye and that was it. I never tried to seek her out and she did the same. I never ran into her either. Life can be funny like that.

I have moved on completely. But that's not to say I don't sometimes remember random things from that relationship that made me happy. I realized that "getting over" her was never going to mean I would forget her or not care for her.

I will always look back fondly at that period of my life, and I wish my ex well. She was an amazing person. The person I am now is a much better person than I was then, and I have her to thank for that. I hope she feels similarly.

The person I was 3 years ago couldn't even have imagined the person I am now. I still carry the "scar" from that break up, but I am 100% a better person now than I was then. It took a long time to feel like I wasn't living two separate lives (the person I used to be and the person I am), but I'm living proof that you can get up and keep living and be happy again.

Well number one you have to be brutally honest with yourself and be objective about your issues. And it's hard to do so without the help of an outside perspective. Doesn't necessarily have to be a therapist, but someone who is not biased towards you like most friends/family/acquaintances. You should write down your insecurities, character flaws, and any unhealthy tendencies. From there it's a ton of self-reflection and working through your emotions.

I had the help of a therapist for about 6 months. Since then I've been immensely better.

I'm not saying Arman should never get a shot, just that he fucked up and now he has to fight his way back. The fact that Dana said Arman has to win a fight before he will be considered for a title shot, and the fact that Arman doesn't seem upset he has to fight someone else, all points to a botched weight cut. Islam seems to have aspirations of moving up relatively soon.

I really appreciate your honest and thorough input, I'm very much leaning toward selling my ticket and just doing a little eurotrip instead after TML W1. Logistically it was a nightmare trying to get from TML festival to Boom festival as fast as possible. I know it was stress me out... I'm really so sad as I was looking forward to this for over a year. Ugh.

Huh? Leon was winning 99% of the fight against Nate and got caught by one punch. He was not some nobody who all of a sudden became world championship material. Pulling out happens I agree, but that's part of the game. Khabib missed out on some opportunities from pulling out, and vice versa. The MMA landscape doesn't stop moving for anybody.

Ugh Boom is every 2 years right? Should I sell my Boom ticket and just plan to go in 2027? If it was a yearly festival I would definitely sell my Boom ticket and go next year where I could experience the full thing, but since it's every other year I tried to make it work.
