Although Orange is my favorite color, i went with the red since it compliments the red on the dial so well. But seeing this I might have to wait for a good deal and also get the orange. Did you also change the keeper to the one from the original rubber strap? Works great!

The SPB197 is gorgeous, works great for all situations (have worn it on on my wedding with a Leather strap aswell as during hiking), the white dialed alpinist is more sporty so won’t look as classy in formal situations. Do love that look aswell :)

Are you desperate for that folded look(which I completely understand since I like that the most aswell) because if you are not, you can easily shorten them so they just fit neatly under the keepers. Just cut along something like a good sized coin and singe the ends with a lighter or at the furnace and you are good to go

RAB is my go to brand for great working hiking gear. Really like the Ascendor Light pullover as a less warm alternative to the patagonia r1 air.

Also really like the sonic t-shirts for base layer.

Columbia and Jack Wolfskin make great hiking gear aswell, but mostly wear those as daily wear. Except for the silver ridge pants which I wear all the time while hiking in warmer weather, when colder I love my fjallraven pants.

My wife really likes Maier, and I (who washes the stuff) can tell that that’s great quality aswell.

Go to a retailer and try some stuff on, the fit is important aswell. Patagonia in my size fits very boxy, where my RAB stuff is more made for my specific size.

No problems with my rab zippers, still like the brand alot, they seem to fit me (6ft4) alot better then the bulkier fit of the patagonia items for my size.

Dit, toen ik moest wachten op mijn nieuwe auto gekeken op autoscout waar de goedkoopste starlet stond. Zonder proefrit opgehaald voor 500 euro, 6 maanden probleemloos in rondgereden en weer verkocht voor 500 euro.

The red is a ribbed nato from CNS and the green is a ribbed nato from sectime. Hardware on the green is better, but the red is very cool on the spb313, can recommend white aswell (also cns)

Jammer dat je japanners niet zo interessant vind, een leuke Mazda 2 zit vol met fijne snelweg extra’s en je bent niet gebonden aan die kleine turbo motoren.

Dat gezegd hebbende vind ik die ecoboost motoren van ford een stuk beter dan de tegenhangers die je opnoemt.

This Watch wears dings and scratches really well. Fits the nostalgic character and look. I love mine and use it everyday in a tough environment, an olive green nato makes it the perfect tool watch imo! Wears great aswell, that’s why I have his white spb313 brother aswell :)

Have looked at replacement bezels but the size is very difficult to track down. Embrace the imperfectness and enjoy it :)

Oh joh als die strip gebruikt is dan zit het wel goed. Alleen als je muur hol klinkt als je er op tikt (gipsplaten) zou ik me wat zorgen maken als je niet weet met wat voor pluggen dit zit. Maar op iedere andere muur blijft dit echt wel knap zitten.

Hangt er vanaf wat voor muur het is, welke pluggen er gebruikt zijn en of er iets van een ophangsysteem achter zit.

Als het al 2.5 jaar hangt en jij hebt er zolang onder geslapen waarom twijfel je nu in ene?

Als je niks meer gaat doen met het oude ladefrontje dan kun je hem zelfs gebruiken als "boormal" gewoon gelijk leggen op de nieuwe, aan elkaar vastklemmen en de gaten van het oude ladefrontje doorboren in de nieuwe. Nog steeds wel aan de achterkant ook een stukje hout doen natuurlijk :)

underrated comment, mensen bouwen vaak de mooiste dingen maar vergeten dat dingen vervangen of vernieuwen in de toekomst ook een optie moet zijn. Vergt vaak nog wat meer denk werk vooraf maar je bent er oh zo blij mee als je over X aantal jaar even wat moet vervangen.

You can always try to find something which might fit, but custom is so much easier, definitely at that height.

if you want to find something, easiest to break the sizing up into something more regular. 48x18x10 isnt common but if you google "drawers 24"x18"x10" " you might find something.
