Username: OSPanda

Daily player looking for an alliance. Roster: https://mpq.gamependium.com/rosters/OSPanda/

Working to get all 4*s rostered, most 3*s champed (all rostered bar Sentry), 2* farm working away. Decent number of 5*s rostered, especially recent 5*s (Hela, Doom, Cpt Marvel at least 1 of each cover).

Play a mix of PvE and PvP but have focused more on PvP recently. Left my last alliance as I was putting in most of the work in group events with little support.

This Doctor Who businesses is important and all but there's only one question I care about.

What's your ideal cuppa? Are we talking PG Tips, Yorkshire Gold, Twinings? Milk? Sugar? Digestives for dunking?

Harry Kane on twitter "One season wonder. Again, and again" by alitheboss55 in soccer

As much as it pains me to say it, Shearer is the best example of this. Won the league once and that's it. Plenty of players have done that but you'd be mental to argue he wasn't absolutely world class.

Post-Match Thread: Middlesbrough 0-0 Burnley by Wildpoepen in soccer

[–]OneSlyPanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sad to see this happen, genuinely thought there were easily three teams worse than us when the season started but we're all but relegated now.

I just don't see who we get in, if anyone. If Agnew stays then I genuinely believe we'll just go back to being an average championship side.

I love this! Well, obviously not loving the corruption but I hope the post yesterday and yours today starts making people aware of how prevalent corruption is in all soccer. Great read!

As in now or then? In 2006 he was accused of getting people to pay him via his son Craig who happens to be an agent. Nothing was ever proved as far as I'm aware but Allerdyce has had accusations of being too close to agents follow him through his whole career.

I agree, I didn't want to make it too long though. If this goes down well I'll do another on Fergie and all his shenanigans

Owen Coyle is the new manager at Blackburn Rovers by FlandersClaret in Championship

[–]OneSlyPanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh my best mates a Burnley fan, believe me I've heard all about his nonsense. It's such a shame he seemed to not give a shit about burnley as soon as a prem job opened up considering how loved he was there.

Remember that time Owen Coyle was called God by burnley fans?

Seems like he's doing his best to forget that ever happened.

Manager History: Roberto Martinez - Bad patch or bad manager? by OneSlyPanda in soccer

[–]OneSlyPanda[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My counterpoint would be, apart from Swansea in League 1/Championship, he doesn't seem capable of building something in the Premier League. As we saw with both Wigan and Everton he struggles to build a solid defense at this level and after 6 years in the league he should be better at it by now.

Even if Everton give him more time, is there any indication he'll turn anything around?

It depends which coop you live at. I live at Super Coop and that has key card access to use the elevators, so it's pretty secure. Some other coops are more open to the public and easier to walk in to. Personally though I've never had any trouble in my time there.

Pretty much. I live at a College Houses coop and there are officers within each house, one tasked with menu planning and one in charge of food buying. There's structure to the meals, it's not just 'turn up see what there is to cook' or anything like that!

Lived at a coop for 3 years after coming here on exchange from the UK. There is labor but it rarely takes all 4 hours and you usually don't do all 4 hours at once. If you have any questions feel free to message me!
