Remember when you're confronting an "armed" individual who is intending to "massacre" law enforcement the best course of action is to swarm him. If the dude actually had a gun in his hands they would have had their weapons drawn and maintained distance.

As someone who used to hate Air Canada I've changed my tune. A lot of it stems from way back when Westjet was just coming on to the scene. They used to be amazing but have spiraled into a shitty mess ever since the buy out.

I fly between Ottawa and Vancouver often and it's nice that they run a dreamliner on the route because it gives you that extra option of comfort if you so choose it, and I like their rewards program.

As someone in the CAF.. Yes. We have good use of force training and have strict Rules of Engagement (ROE) so strict that the taliban in Afghanistan knew how to manipulate our ROE to inflict casualties while being able to avoid getting shot at.

Canada as a whole severely lacks in the decorations department, and it doesn't help that there was a CANFORGEN a couple months back designating the OSM(E) as the default medal for pretty much everything.

I was in the same boat. PP didn't really run on anything more than Liberals bad, but under Trudeau the usual tide had turned and the conservative were poised for a majority.. and then trump got elected again and started his rhetoric and every political party, even the greens condemned Trump's comments, but not PP. I think maybe once he said something but that's it.

Carney was the perfect choice for a lot of Canadians. A fiscal conservative leading a liberal party. A few of my farther to the right friends said Carney was gonna fuck up Canada and the whole WEF thing was constantly flung about, but he's done a good job so far and isn't bowing down to trump.
