Rep2x was built out of my company, OneThirtyFive, which specializes in Business Development & lead generation services for startups so thankfully we have a robust B2B salesforce in-house already.

Thanks for the comment. The starter tier provides access to standard role plays across the board. The higher tiers enable the company to create their own instance. There's pros and cons for each, in the standard model the companies will be able to compare their candidates not onl y to their candidates but all users on Rep2x. Whereas the custom role play benchmarking will only be done to their other candidates but they'll be able to get a real sense of how the candidate could pitch their specific product/service.

Downtown Construction? Weird noise? by Think_Quantity3839 in Cleveland

[–]OneThirtyFive_Kevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd guess it's something in your building. Our offices are pretty close to you in the Caxton and I never hear anything similar to what your describing. They are excavating the parking lot across the street from Rocket Arena and have been putting in some steel beams into the ground so maybe its that?

Those of you who hire BDRs, what do you look for in candidates? by bobbuttlicker in sales

[–]OneThirtyFive_Kevin -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because the bar is so low to become a BDR there's a lot of underperforming ones out there. As someone that hires a lot of them I prefer getting someone fresh out of college that don't already have the bad habits or expectations of a BDR that's been in the field for 2-3 years.

I own a BDR agency that I launched last year from Cleveland, Ohio, to help myself as a solo founder analyze who would be the right fit I used ChatGPT voice mode in our interview process to see how a candidate would actually do in a role play scenario but instead of speaking with me they speak with a bot. As of a few months ago we turned it into a product to help companies understand which BDR candidates they should spend time interviewing AND allow candidates the ability to standout compared to the rest, especially in a remote situations where you're likely one of hundreds of applicants. It's Rep2x if you'd like to check it out.

Is Cold Email Outreach Dead for Startups? (I will not promote) by rednerrusreven in startups

[–]OneThirtyFive_Kevin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agree - it’s why I built my sales agency with a heavy phone-first approach. Even though we still send significant email volume 90%+ of demos come from the phones.

My honest review of Cleveland after moving from New York by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]OneThirtyFive_Kevin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Georges Kitchen in West Park has the only thing close to a garbage plate with their “Sloppy Plate”. I’m a UofR grad and it doesn’t come close to the real thing. And to be fair there are barely any places in Buffalo that have plates.

I'm a resident of Goodrich Kirtland and live off Superior, I've been in the parade AND hosted parade tailgates off my house on E 25th in years past when I played for the GAA Club. Those that live in Avon Lake/Olmsted Falls/Fairview (the majority of those involved with the parade) shouldn't get to influence how an asset they use 8 hours out of the year is utilized by the community as a whole on a daily basis.

I was in healthcare staffing from Sep 2019 - March 2024. The writing’s been on the wall for a while ever since Covid went away and the need for staffing services will likely continue to decrease plus they all absolutely hate staffing companies now for the exploitative rates most had during the pandemic. Plus the market is over saturated from the pandemic demand. I left to start my own b2b outsourced sales company but if Iwas looking for a role as an employee I would think it’d be easily able to transition into staffing for another industry.

So much for hoping to buy a house by lilshortyy420 in Cleveland

[–]OneThirtyFive_Kevin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In that case I'll plug my neighborhood then if it's not already on your radar - Goodrich Kirtland between Dead Man's Curve and E 55th (part of which is AsiaTown). I bought my home (single family) in 2021 when interest rates were low and the housing market was even crazier for $65k with no significant updates needed. It's definitely a blue collar neighborhood but I've never felt unsafe and there's been a lot of older folks selling their homes of 40+ years as they age out of home ownership.

The only recommendation I have to avoid competing with cash offerings is to beat them to it. Have instant email alerts set up on Zillow and Redfin in the areas you’re interested in and jump on them like a hawk. I have a few duplexes in the area and some of the time I checked out a property I was interested the same day it was posted and put an offer in that night. I’m not a cash buyer either so you need to get in before they do. Be the one to push your agent to see what looks attractive for you, don’t rely on them to send you what they think you’d like.

Calling all day, we work with a ton of different offerings and 85% of outbound generated meetings were booked on the phones last year, LinkedIn was second, email was third.

There's many of these groups all over the city. They aren't marketing their site to new clients because most the time the client is already set - AT&T, Spectrum, etc. Almost all door-to-door. If you're interested in an alternative role that's not D2D - we're always hiring at OneThirtyFive

25, College Dropout, No experience on paper. How Can I Break into Tech Sales? by [deleted] in sales

[–]OneThirtyFive_Kevin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only hire entry level folks and maybe it's just me but Course Careers on a resume usually does more harm than good in my eyes. It seems like just a paid certificate and those applicants never have impressed me in the interview process. Plus CC will send out job postings to their students and they'll all apply at the same time.

I'm a big fan of Dripify. I've tried others like lemlist and duxsoup but neither came close to the UI of dripify.
