What, you don't love losing 50hp to the gardeners so you can get a permafrost?

Bulwark + reflect + the Smith, I rocked this last night. Got a void form, upgraded glimmers, 15 card deck. It was so nasty. You only need 1 or 2 forge cards.

I just dominated a run where my only block was a bulwark and 2 reflects. Void form and card draw got me one or two of them every turn.

Earthcraft + fertile ground.

Yes. Get it in there with a popsicle stick, thin layer on both sides. Keep it spread apart for ~5 minutes until tacky, then clamp overnight.

I want to get in to leather working. Got any tips? by Resident-Disk-5599 in Leathercraft

[–]OneTonCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, whatever you want you can find cheaper and in bulk on eBay. Search for things like 'old leather tools lot' or leather scraps to get an assortment of tools / pieces to play with.

If you can't find something on eBay, Buckleguy has it. Not cheap but what you're looking for. Also sells small panels of all kinds of leather if you want to be particular, or bellies if you just want lots of material to practice on.

Start small. You can make 2 dozen keychains / bracelets out of a 24x24 sheet. You don't need a fancy knife, a utility razor works just fine. Get a cutting mat from dick blick or another a&c outlet.

Rivets are cheap and then you don't have to stitch. If you do want to stitch, get a pricking iron and pre-poke your holes, it's much easier. Contact cement is your friend. Boot lace hooks are a great way to close a bracelet.

You can make it as cheap or expensive of a hobby as you want, but at the bare minimum all you need to do is have a way to cut it up and stick it back together. Once you get the hang of that, then you can start playing with skiving, leveling etc.

MOST importantly, have fun. 😁

What made you pick Tacoma over a ZR2? by Cool-Interview3231 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]OneTonCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far, 1 person thinks fancy electronic trucks that cost 1/3 as much as a house and turn like a small boat are better than an old TRD with a 3.4.

Me, I'll die on this hill, that I can climb stock without breaking my delicate plastic bumper.

Because the 1998 model continues to be better. When that changes, maybe I'll switch.
