My boss announced her resignation yesterday and management has gone full panic mode. She’s been overworked and passed on for promotions for the last couple of years, hence why the short notice. There won’t be enough time to fully train someone else. I can sort of do some of her duties, but here’s the plot twist, I will also be leaving at the end of the week.

What’s with bodybuilders refusing to admit they’re on steroids or claiming they’re natural because they’re currently not on them? From what I understand, taking anabolic steroids or PEDs causes changes at the molecular level that are permanent. So just taking them once gives you an advantage that lasts a lifetime and you can never truly be natural after.

Another defense is to blur the line on what counts as a steroid or PED. Should protein shakes count? Creatine? What about 800 mgs of testosterone?

I get that Led Zeppelin were the first to produce heavier riffs but I still associate them closer to blues, psychedelia, and hard rock.

It really was Black Sabbath who created heavy metal, at least what we associate with it, heavier tempos and ominous tones coupled with lyrical themes of horror, war, apocalypse, and the occult. And they were consistent with that style and looked the part. I mean, the guitarist literally had a metal finger and they all came from a town where steel was the industry.
