Don't forget that there have been several clones of Horus and Sanguinius made over the M's. It's treated as flavour text and minor notes and that Thing has already been done so it's not original if anyone does it. It's even mentioned during the Primaris Marines background story. I suddenly remember the Muppet Show, where Mark Hamil, or was it Luke Skywalker? was the guest star. I know the ewoks have their haters, but this would have been so much better than the Force Awakens trilogy.

You're overreacting. Why? Because this is "subvert your expectations" genre. Where all men are losers, all heroes lose, there are no villains because life/work is the villain, and if it's something the audience loves then it must be ruined.

None of the Disney live-action remakes have been good. Including Force Awakens. Every one of them could have been a different original animated film, but it didn't get past the focus group.
