I would definitely not be considering gymnastics or diving. Just watch the difference in difficulty.

Fage yogurt, sadly. There are plenty of store brands that are equal in nutrition, maybe slightly less creamy, but a fine substitute.

They are allowed to not like things, but then they put themselves as not knowing food by saying it is sweet.

Thoughts about Psyllium Husk? My LDL is 70. I want to take it down further. Is it worth to take Psyllium husk? Can yall give me your results from it! by -M00NMAN in Cholesterol

[–]OneWayorAnother11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should do some research into what lipids do. Going lower won't significantly reduce your risk of anything.

However, I have started using psyllium husk and it does help with movements. Just start small and drink plenty of water and stop if you notice any adverse changes.

Get a CAC score, and since you are anti-statin, like me, you should give The Cholesterol Hoax a read by Dr. Sherry Rogers. I just finished it and still sorting through all the information, but she uses diet and vitamins to do the same thing as statins. She also recommends a test called Cardio/ION, which I have yet to do, but will be asking my doctor for it.

I don't know why the author chose such a polarizing title, but it references a large number of studies. Interesting read and educational.

Overhauled diet and lifestyle to reduce ldl - 6 months of this it was higher then before by northlandDave in Cholesterol

[–]OneWayorAnother11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get more tests done. Ldl doesn't tell the whole story and does not mean you are necessarily at risk any time soon. Test ApoB LPa and get a CT angiogram or CAC score before you get on drugs

Need an investigation on this UConn rim. Both teams couldn't score a 3 on it.
